The Wonky House is located 9 kilometres off the main road from Timau town in a secure and serene farming village overlooking Mt. Kenya. In front of the house is a small area perfect for camping. Timau is in close proximity to various wildlife conservancies and national parks such as Ol Pajeta, Lewa, Borana, Samburu National Park and Solio Ranch. It is a great place to escape from city life! This place exceed our expectations. First, it's very close to Nanyuki shopping centre, about 8 minutes drive. the distance from the road is very short. The environment was fantastic, very well manicured lawns and very serene environment. The house itself is very well taken care of. The care Taker was ready to help when we needed assistance. This is a great place to stay in Nanyuki

We were in Meru for visiting family and needed a place for 3 couples. The space and the garden are beautiful. a spacious living room and kitchen with a lot of amenities. A very friendly housekeeper and the brother of the owner giving us direction how to find the place. It was not easy to find the house but that might also be caused by the fact that I did not have internet connection to put the pin. The brother and housekeeper did everything to get us in the right direction. Unfortunately we could only stay one day. If you are planning for a trip with family or more persons the house is extremely well, well located near to Meru. And around Meru there are many things to be seen or visited although this time we only had time to visit and see the family.For sure when we return in some weeks or months we will book this location again

I would 1000% recommend staying at this place. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful during the booking period. The house was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated(its even more pretty in person). It truly felt like a home away from home. They’ve thought of everything you might need making the stay smooth and stress-free. I especially loved that we had plenty of cozy throw blankets in the living room.The location was close to everything we wanted to visit around Nanyuki. It’s in a gated community, so we felt completely safe. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay.
