Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mértola

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

Paulo is a fantastic host, our very first Air bnb ! We would definitely recommend as it was just the perfect holiday for us! Lots of walks and beaches are beautiful, all within a few minutes walk. A great small supermarket with Coffee bar again just a few minutes walk. Brilliant , loved it!

We absolutely loved staying in Leonel's lovely apartment. There is a wonderful view overlooking the river and Tavira. We were a group of 6 and had plenty of room. Kitchen was well equipped. The location of this apartment makes it special as you can walk anywhere in old Tavira. There is free parking just a 4-5 minute walk away. We highly recommend staying here!

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We would definitely stay again when in the beautiful Algarve! Thanks, Mia

I cannot thank Carmen enough from booking to arriving! We were a group for a hen party and Carmen’s could not have helped more by sending us recommendations for restaurants and also booking taxis. The villa was great and really secure with plenty of room. The pool was great fun and there are plenty of extras that Carmen can sort! If you are looking this the place to book!! This is a really lovely little apartment in a fantastic location - in the heart of everything yet peaceful too. Hosts are great communicators - couldn’t fault it, just what we needed!

Had a great 2 night stay at Isabel’s! Perfect location within walking distance of all restaurants in Old Town and within 5 minutes of the beach. Would recommend to any couples staying in Albufeira.

Adriana was one of the bests hosts I’ve had of my 10 years using Airbnb! She’s very responsive, worked insanely quickly to fix some minor issues and even checked in on me after the issues were resolved. I’d highly recommend this place, it’s quiet, safe, has amazing views and the proximity to the beach and shops is unreal! Can’t say enough amazing things about it, it’s the perfect location for a getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at Susana’s place. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean (very happy to let my little one crawl around on the floors it was so clean!). Much bigger than the photos. Pool area was very peaceful. Lots of amenities without being cluttered. Well stocked kitchen and generous welcome pack. We had a wonderful stay at Cor and Lucia's apartment! The space was incredibly well-equipped, spacious, and spotless—everything we needed was right was available. The apartment felt like a true home away from home. Cor and Lucia were such kind and responsive hosts, always quick to communicate and eager to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. We were also warmly welcomed by Carla, who were both pleasant and extremely helpful throughout our visit. It’s clear that the entire team genuinely cares about their guests' experience. We had a wonderful stay in Alvor! Francisca is a great host – warm, helpful and always available. She made sure that we felt completely comfortable and were provided with all the necessary information. The house is very cozy, lovingly furnished and well equipped – we lacked nothing. We especially liked the toys provided, beach utensils such as umbrellas, chairs and digging things - perfect for our holiday with a child. The beaches in Alvor are beautiful, ideal for swimming, playing and relaxing. There are great excursion options in the area – our daughter loved the Dino Minigolf! The resort itself offers everything you need: restaurants, shopping and a pleasant, family atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come back!

The AirBnB was really fantastic. Great location, beautiful property with fantastic pool and great outdoor kitchen in the middle of nature. If you love animals (like we do), you've come to the right place. Birgit was a super nice and attentive hostess. We got great tips from her for the area (beaches and food spots) and were able to explore the Algarve so perfectly. We felt very comfortable right away and are sad that we had to leave after a super nice week. The Quinta Avalon is a real recommendation from the heart, especially because of the dogs and cats, for whom Birgit offers a great home. We were very happy to be your guest and would come back anytime. Best regards

Nicely furnished, modern flat in Albufeira marina. Clean and lots of natural light. Comfortable balcony with a view of the shared pool and the marina. Lots of restaurants right downstairs. Convenient parking spot in building. Anabela, the Host greeted us and was responsive and helpful during our stay. The bathroom could use a makeover…the only outlet in the bathroom did not work, the bathtub drain was rusty and the shower curtain needs to changed. The kitchen is quaint and fully functional. The drip coffeemaker needs to be replaced or at least replace the filter. Thankfully, they also had a Nespresso coffee maker. Washer was a plus. If your stay is longer than a week, you will get fresh linens an towels. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The beaches are only a 15-20 minute walk away or a 10 minute bike ride! Definitely recommend that. The house is great and the garden is beautiful! The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days! I would 100% recommend this place :)
