Family-friendly holiday rentals in Merano

Thanks so much for a great week! The apartment is super nice and as described! Carmen and her family were always there for us and offered us valuable tips and support. Especially great was the possibility to use the jacuzzi as well as to use the indoor swimming pool + sauna (highly recommended) in the AquaForum. Thank you very much and only recommended!!

Dream house and absolutely stunning location! Would happily stay again

Great apartment for exploring Brixen and the wider Dolomites region. Alex communicated clearly and met us for checkin to show us round. The apartment is large, spacious, modern and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The outside space, pool and hot tub are great spaces to hang around in. Only minor suggestion for improvement would be to provide an iron.

We rented Arthur's two large apartments with a total of 4 couples (2 kids). We had a great week! The apartments are very spacious and because each couple has their own bathroom, there was a lot of privacy! Also enough space in both apartments to dine/sit together with everyone. Walking distance to the slopes (tow lift Nives). There is storage space with heated elements for ski boots in the garage, but we chose to keep our belongings in the depot next to the ski lift. Within walking distance of the village, supermarket, restaurants, and so on. One of the bathrooms has been recently renovated, the photos show an old bathroom with bathtub, but this is now a very nice new bathroom. Arthur is a very friendly host, he is very responsive and very helpful. In short, we had a great week and booked again for next year!

We were there for hiking, mountain biking and, of course, exploring the city. It was awesome! The area is great for it and you can enjoy the beautiful big house and garden! We had 2 small Chihuahuas with us and it worked great. Shopping and a bar as well as a very good pizzeria are within walking distance. Otherwise, you should take the car and drive into the city. There is ample parking. We were also able to reach some lakes and attractions. It was worth it! We travelled a lot, but also enjoyed and appreciated the generosity of the house and host. Thank you

Great place in excellent location

Wow, wow, wow this place is so beautiful and magical. Views of the Dolomites straight out your window. Beautifully appointed cabin with everything you need. The spa and saunas are fantastic after a day of exploring this incredibly gorgeous part of our planet. Ilaria is the most welcoming host even offering fresh eggs and locally made cheese. This portion of our Italian holiday will remain etched in our memories forever.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment is beautiful and the surroundings are breathtaking! Judith is a fabulous host. We would love to come back one day!

We (2 adults + dog) spent a few nice days in Serena's house. The location is wonderfully quiet and we were able to unwind wonderfully. Communication with the landlady was smooth, friendly and fast, as was the check-in. The house has everything you need, the beds are comfortable and we lacked nothing. Conclusion: an absolute oasis of calm and 100% recommendation.

Very nice! We had an ant problem the first few days, but overall it was great. We enjoyed the balcony with the view - especially the shade in the evening. Breakfast at the "zummuellerhof" is recommended!

Roberta’s home was a dream. The view was breathtaking, surrounded by the mountains and a sea of trees. Roberta was responsive and helpful and getting us to the Airbnb. It was the ideal location to start my wife and I honeymoon, nearby a number of national parks and beautiful hikes. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to other guests.

We had really lovely stay and our vacation was perfect. Accomodation is really cozy and best spot for trips in this area. For sure we will arrive again. Thank you very very much!

Sergio's place is a haven in a beautiful setting. In early June the refuge opposite wasn't open yet, so it was a very quiet little hamlet with deer wandering through the meadows. The house is as it appears - we were lucky that we only overlapped with the guests next door for a couple of days as all the outside space is really shared. Also the house itself was freezing, and perhaps should have been opened and aired before we arrived. But it was very clean, Sergio was very helpful and it's a lovely place to stay.

We felt very comfortable! There is everything you need in the property. Wonderful view!Mathilde is available every day from 6 pm, gave us many tips and inquired about what we did. Despite accommodation in the landlady's house, you enjoy a lot of privacy. The location was awesome: 15 minutes to Merano, 20 minutes to Bolzano. (Bus, train and cable cars are even free through the South Tyrol Card) We will be happy to come back!!

The house is perhaps 200 yards from the nearest other dwelling, up on the side of a hill, quite a way up, with beautiful views of the dolomites and down the valley. The house was well equipped and had a wonderful big wood stove for heat. There were hiking trails right out the front door as well as within relatively short drives away into the beautiful dolomites. Hiking here was a major draw for us. This is a peaceful, beautiful house that is not in the middle of amusements and restaurants although restaurants and two small grocery stores are just a short distance away. The host Manfred was very understanding and responsive. We absolutely did not want to leave.

The small mountain hut is made with so much love and passion that you can only feel comfortable. Romano has really thought of everything. There was also nothing lacking in the kitchen and bathroom. It was a really great holiday and we will definitely come back! There is only one thing to consider: you are not entirely alone. Next door was someone from time to time - but it never bothered. This information can only be found in the description if you read it very carefully. Thank you, Romano!

Of all the locations I have stayed around the Garda lake in Italy, this residence deserves a 10 out of 10! It is one of my best -if not the best- reservations I have made in all my travels. The apartment itself as well as the allround building and garden were super clean (yes, even the spaces you would suggest it is not), very spacious and everything is very well thought of; the layout, facilities, etc. This place stands out in everything. Communication with the owner was very fast, super friendly and very helpful. I have a great respect for what he accomplished with his apartments. We will return to this place next time we will visit the Garda lake.

Unfortunately, we only stayed 4 nights there. It is super clean, new, modernly furnished. We felt super comfortable. We had the pool partly all to ourselves. It is super quiet and the area is simply fantastic. The large roof terrace is also beautiful. Simply great. Eleonora and her parents are also super friendly. We will definitely come back, then we will stay longer :)

Thank you Nicola, for a great stay! The apartment was immaculate, impeccably clean and well equipped with everything I needed. I felt at home. I also found the terrace for breakfast very nice. The construction noise was a bit disturbed, but due to the holiday and the following weekend, this was only incidental. The bed was very comfortable and the oversized duvet was an extra highlight. The pool was also very nice to look at, just the water was still cold to try the pool. But even in Lake Garda at max. I'm not in 17°C. I also liked the safe storage for bicycles very much. I would have liked to dispose of my garbage myself, in the absence of a representation/photo, unfortunately I did not know where to go with it. I would love to stay here again! Kind regards, Michael

Our stay with Rafael couldn't have been better, I mean, it could! If it had lasted longer, what 😂 an amazing place! The airbnb photos don't describe the beauty of the villa, definitely! Friends and family, seeing the photos I posted on social media, asked me if the place was real and, really, it looks like a dream! The location is perfect, very close to the city center, easily accessible from the villa. The room is beautiful, super well equipped, super comfortable for longer stays. The villa is stunning, with the garden and the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. Rafael is an amazing host, polite, helpful and makes us feel at home! I took my dog and he was able to walk around the gardens, relax under the trees, he enjoyed it so much! I have no words to thank Rafael for everything! In addition, Riva del Garda is a wonderful city, so far my favorite city in Italy! In short: we will definitely be back! I absolutely recommend it!

Francesca was a delightful host. We enjoyed talking with her when we checked in and she made our entire stay easy and enjoyable. The apartment was perfect for us. It had all of the necessities and is located right in the center of town. Francesca also made some restaurant recommendations.

We spent a week with Patrick and Nina and felt very comfortable. Both are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very secluded in nature, perfect for relaxing. A highlight was the nature pool. The small apartment is well equipped, the bathroom could be renovated. As everywhere in nature, you should not be afraid of spiders. A car is absolutely needed, it takes almost 30 minutes to Bolzano (15 km). We definitely recommend the place and would be happy to come back.
