Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Melbourne City

We loved this place in Melbourne - it was cozy and had enough space for our family to stretch out with the extra bed in the back :) The kitchen was well appointed and though we only stayed a weekend we could see renting this place for longer. The location was amazing as well - walkable and close to public transportation. One of our favorites so far!

Lovely air bnb. Justin was great with communicating and letting us extend our check out time by a couple of hours. Location was good but loud when going to sleep on weekends people walking past. Construction was happening next door which we weren’t made aware of so was loud! Workers throwing bricks and tools around.

I stayed in this charming one-bedroom Fitzroy house while visiting my daughter and found it a lovely, well-located base. The bright downstairs area had a large back window and a small patio — perfect for nice weather. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, even with milk for tea, and all linens and essentials were provided. The airy loft bedroom was comfortable and mostly quiet. The host was excellent — quick to respond and helpful with local tips. One caveat: there was active construction on both sides of the house. While not constant, some days included noise from heavy equipment and hammering, which might matter if you’re home during the day. Otherwise, a great stay just two blocks from the tram and easy walking distance to everything Fitzroy offers.

A very enjoyable stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The location is great, well within walking distance to the city and right by the South Melbourne markets. Would definitely stay again and recommend others giving it a look!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet while also being close to transport and shops/restaurants. We really enjoyed the fireplace and spa tub. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Naomi was a great host and communicator.

what a beautiful place to stay, from the great view to the well styled apartment everything was spot on. I was amazed to see Smeg appliances and a good coffee machine aswell instead of the standard Kmart appliances. the location was perfect also, from the lake over the road to the city just up the road. great spot if you want to go out for the night or just relax and enjoy the view, this has both covered.

What a wonderful stay at Lisa’s place! The personal touches were thoughtful, the space was spotless and cozy, and the location couldn’t have been better. Just a short walk to the tram, but honestly, Collingwood has everything you need — incredible restaurants, great coffee, and that perfect balance of being close to the city without feeling like you're in the city. We’ll definitely be back!

Julie has put a lot of thought and attention to detail into this listing. The must stocked kitchen I've ever seen in an airbnb, ample kids toys, beautiful bathrooms. The tram was right outside our door, which did have a little noise, however, it is quieter in the bedrooms. The beds were lovely and soft and the rooms were all a lot larger than I had anticipated. A very nice stay in Melbourne for our family, it felt like home. Our 3 year old also enjoyed swimming in the pool after a day out exploring.

Had an amazing stay at Queenie’s place! The apartment was cosy, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth and communication was spot on the entire time. The apartment was perfect. It was beautifully designed, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We'd definitely stay here again. We particularly appreciated having a mix of soft and firm pillow so we could choose the perfect one, and very clear instructions for entering.

Stayed in Guangshan's place, everything went really well. We had some questions and they were resolved promptly. The host interrupted his dinner (he happened to be having in a nearby Korean bbq restaurant) and went to fix what was needed within 20 minutes of us messaging. All photos that you see in the listing is authentic, and possibly even better! What surprised us was that there was a glass covered balcony which we enjoyed having, and we stayed there a while to get some work done when it was warm in the apartment. There was also a machine to suck smoke when cooking, so the smell doesn't stay in the apartment. There is an Uber pickup point right outside the apartment building, so if you, like us, just Uber everywhere, you can get picked up easily. Be sure to ask for the restaurant recommendations from the host, he has a list of things that are sure winners. There is also a smart TV that you can use. Everything was great and would love to stay again next time we visit Melbourne!!

Andrew was the perfect host - he was super helpful, responsive and offered to stay up late in case I had issues getting in, given my late arrival time. Communication was great and very open to helping where possible. The apartment itself was lovely and views were fantastic being on the top floor. You could still hear a lot of the traffic and trams however so perhaps bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but otherwise not a big deal, just one of the things about being in an urban area. I was there for work so was a very quick stay but it was a close walk for where I needed to be which was great, thanks for having me Andrew and being a fantastic host!

The apartment is well situated with a tram stop into the city just across the road. Very close to the arts precinct and parks. There are a couple of great coffee shops within 5 minutes so easy for breakfast. Woolworths and BWS are a 5 minute walk away and there is a fantastic wine shop downstairs as well. A 10 minute walk takes you to all the restaurants on Southbank. The apartment is spacious and well set out with everything you need for your stay, with great view from the balcony. Definitely recommend the apartment for a stay and would stay again next time we visited from Perth. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable.

We felt very cosy in this apartment due to the great couch, comfortable bed, terrific heater in the bedroom and nice decor as well as really clean throughout. The kitchen is well appointed and the bathroom has good shelf space and a really hot and good pressure shower.

We had such a nice stay at Ros and Andrew’s place. The apartment is great, very well equipped and quiet. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and only a few minutes walk from cafes and restaurants. Ros and Andrew are excellent hosts.
