Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Melbourne City

Sheryl and Hani were great hosts, very friendly and hospitable. Their property was clean with all the amenities provided and the pool was great for kids. She switched on the jets before our arrival which made the water warm for my kids to go in and enjoy. Also I asked her for late check out and she was kind enough to accept our request. I am very thankful to them. Our stay was very pleasant at their property and hopefully we'll come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mister Montague. The property itself is beautifully renovated, and has been furnished and equipped to a high standard. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, which has pretty much everything you could possibly need, making it very much a home away from home. Kim herself was a great host - responsive to questions and very thoughtful and generous about accommodating the needs of our young family. The location is very convenient for South Melbourne Market and just a short tram ride away from Melbourne’s main attractions. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay – the house is beautifully styled, in a great neighborhood, and easy to find with accessible parking. It’s a cozy, welcoming space that’s clearly well looked after. Just a heads up: the 2 bedrooms in the main house don’t have AC, so if you're sensitive to temperature, it might be worth considering the season before booking - there is AC in the main living area, but it's at the other end of the house. It was unseasonably warm in Melbourne during our stay, but we got through it alright. Kali was a fantastic host – super responsive and friendly, and since she lives next door, she was always around if we needed anything. Would happily stay again!

We really enjoyed out stay at Eva's place. Its well designed and a really cool place, with good size bedrooms and a neat loft which the kids enjoyed sleeping in. Its close to tram stop and restaurants and not too far from the city. We walked to Queen Victoria Markets in about 40 mins. It has easy access from the expressway if you're in a car, its just one or two turns and about 2 mins from the exit. We'd stay again.

This house is located in the CBD zone near to everything 1 minute to free tram zone. This is a unique house with high ceilings. very recommend for anyone who love large living room :)

This place blew us away! We were already impressed by the photos online, but walking through the door was a total wow moment. The house is even better in person—stylish, spacious, and packed with cool touches that made it feel like a dream home away from home. Perfectly suited for our family of 8, there was more than enough space for everyone to relax comfortably. The layout was ideal, and everything was spotless and well-stocked. The location couldn’t have been better—super close to the city and loads of great restaurants, with easy access via trams right outside. And the cherry on top? A cozy pub literally next door! We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Highly, highly recommend this property—we’re already talking about when we can come back!

The property was exactly as described. Very short walking distance to all that South Melbourne has to offer. And a short distance to Albert Park and 10 mins on the tram to the Centre of The City. Sonja was the perfect super host, extremely responsive and friendly with communications. Would definitely book with her again .

Jenny was super flexible and easy to get in touch with. We stayed an extra night and Jenny was more than happy to accommodate us. Everything is a walkable distance away and the view is beautiful.

Great location, easy walking distance to everything. Living space was good size for us as a couple with a toddler, might have been stretched to comfortably fit another couple. Helen and Eric were very quick to respond to messages sent which made for a relaxing time away. Would definitely stay again when visiting Melbourne.

Chris was an amazing host! We loved the location and how close it was to crown and train stations! Anything we needed was 2 minutes from the Airbnb! Great view, and Airbnb was really easy to get to. The place was super clean as well. Would definitely recommend for short or long term stays!

The apartment is stunning and in a great location. Everything was easily accessible with a tram station just outside. The host gave clear instructions and was super responsive. We had a great stay!

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

John nous a fait une petite présentation de l'histoire du bâtiment à notre arrivée ainsi que de son inscription dans le quartier, c'était super intéressant ! Le logement possède quelques équipements un peu datés (encore fonctionnels, bien sûr !) qui rajoutent à son charme. C'est un appartement avec du caractère. Il y a également une laverie avec sèche linge et une piscine en extérieur accessibles dans le bâtiment.

House was big & spacious. Enough room for all of us. It was in nice & quiet neighbourhood. Good 25 minutes ride to city. Good host.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway!

We had a great weekend away at Chelos place located in a nice historic part of Richmond within walking distance of everything. Accomodation was cosy and Hosts are fun to chat to and very helpful. Chelo is also a good source of knowledge for anybody interested in European fashion design !

Wonderful central property for family group to stay in. Very comfortable and homely for all ages. Encouraged informal catch ups in spacious areas available. Easy to get around with car spaces plus very close to public transport. Brenda was responsive and helpful.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s fantastic house! It’s a beautiful property, and larger than it seems in the photos. It’s also very well equipped, and with the crazy Melbourne weather kept us warm with the heating and cool with the aircon. Our pup really enjoyed her time there, too! The pool is also fantastic, and the decked area great for chilling out. We would love to stay again in future!
