Farmstay holiday rentals in Mekong River Delta

Unser Aufenthalt im Mekong- Delta war ein echtes Highlight und absolut authentisch. In den drei Tagen haben wir nur einmal andere Touristen getroffen – hier erlebt man das ursprüngliche Leben auf der Insel. Besonders schön war das gemeinsame Kochen mit der Mutter der Familie: Es hat nicht nur Spaß gemacht, sondern wir haben auch viel über die lokale Küche gelernt. Der Ausflug zu den lokalen Märkten war ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Insel selbst lädt zum Fahrradfahren und Spazierengehen ein, überall trifft man auf freundliche Einheimische, die uns herzlich begrüßt haben. Wer Ruhe, Natur und echten Kontakt zu Land und Leuten sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Genau das was wir lieben. Ein schöne familiengeführte Unterkunft. Ruhig am Fluss gelegen. Außerhalb des Zentrums, aber mit dem Grab leicht erreichbar. Die Unterkunft bietet verschiedene Touren an. Uns hat es gut gefallen.

Thuan hosts an amazing homestay in a peaceful part of Ben Tre province, and his tours are excellent. My husband and I stayed three nights in the house (with Thaun and his dad in the other two bedrooms), ate breakfast each morning at his sisters' restaurant/snack shop next door (and one night she delivered dinner to the house's patio for us). Good AC in the bedrooms and wifi throughout. There are also two guesthouses on the property, which is a coconut farm; the newer of the two is available only sometimes. Thuan is incredibly helpful and communicative, with great English. Our two different tours with him, by bike and motor boat and row boat were just fantastic and full of interesting sites and anecdotes. And delicious food.

Loved the place. We were a large group of 11 folks and a toddler. The place is far away from the city to feel extremely private, but still close enough that it took 30-45 mins to reach Quan 1 or get any food deliveries. Had a Tennis Court, Karaoke room and what not. The place even had toys for kids

We loved our stay at the Farmstay, it's such a lovely space-after being in the city we wanted to be surrounded by green and nature and it definitely ticked that box. Minh was really helpful both before and during our stay with advice about transport etc, and Thao couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. She was so welcoming and tried her best to make us and other guests comfortable. We had a couple of evening meals which were delicious and huge-great fishcakes! And they arranged a boat tour which we really enjoyed. We didn't use them, but having bicycles to use is a great bonus too! We had no problem walking from the road to the property (its a lovely walk and we had small bags!) but for anyone with restricted mobility or a big heavy suitcase, bear in mind that you have a little way to go down an unpaved road. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and happily recommend it to other travellers!

Vi havde først bestilt et andet overnatningssted hos Dang, men der var opstået en akut situation, så det ikke var muligt at overnatte der. Dang var hurtig til at tilbyde refusion eller overnatning i hans andet sted, Duehuset, hvilket vi takkede ja til. Duehuset var simpelt og bygget op som et tiny house med udendørs bad og toilet. Det var småt, men virkelig hyggeligt med privat have, hvor høns gik frit. Dang og hans medvært Nguyen var helt fantastiske. Selvom vi har haft rigtig gode værter på de andre AirBnB’s, har vi ikke oplevet så godt værtsskab som her. Vi blev kompenseret økonomisk pga den nye bolig, vi fik frisk frugt og masser af lokale anbefalinger til restauranter og oplevelser. Vi bookede en morgentur til det flydende marker med Dangs ven Mr. Mann, som var en helt uforglemmelig oplevelse. Vores ophold i Can Tho var fantastisk pga værterne. Helt klart en anbefaling herfra. Wir hatten bei Anh und Vu eine wunderbare Zeit. Sie haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen und uns wie zu Hause fühlen lassen. Wir haben viele wertvolle Tipps von ihnen bekommen und konnten die letzten Tage unseres Urlaubs sehr genießen. Anh hat uns einen sehr guten Motorroller organisiert, mit dem wir auf der Insel umherfahren konnten. (Der Verkehr ist für Anfänger geeignet) Ca. 500m entfernt ist Rorys Beach Bar, bei der man jederzeit den Pool benutzen kann. Allgemein kann man sehr gut in den verschiedenen Resorts auf der Insel die Pools oder Strandzugänge mitbenutzen. Das separate Bungalow liegt sehr ruhig im hinteren Teil des Gartens und es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche im Freien. Nebenan ist ein kleiner Markt und über einen fahrenden Händler kann man alles bekommen, was man zum Kochen braucht. In der nächsten Ortschaft findet man Obst-/Gemüsestände und in der Innenstadt auch einige Supermärkte. Insgesamt waren Anh und Vu sehr liebevolle und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Vielen Dank!

This was a beautiful place to stay, deep in the countryside. Gorgeous and a really cool house. The housekeeper cooked us a big Vietnamese meal for just 80,000 per person and it was absolutely delicious. You should know: this is in a remote area, so you must have a scooter or a car. Bring your own soap and towels. But it is totally worth it for a relaxing stay in a natural setting. Great.
