Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Megas Gialos

Mrs. Mary was amazing and helped us with the arrival and departure, as well as with instructions for our stay, quite friendly, in general it was a very good experience, the house covered all our needs

Our stay was fantastic and we would definitely come back. We were a couple with two teenager girls and stayed two weeks. The location was great as 10min by walk to Chora, the main city, yet felt quite isolated as it was on the top of hill just outside of the city. There were little cove just below the house (5min walk) and it was perfect for the morning or late afternoon dip when we didn’t feel like driving. We had an amazing view of sunset. We ate on our terrace and enjoyed apéritive every night with the beautiful sunset and sea view. There was a small local market everyday at the port, so we would walk in the morning to get fresh local produce to prepare our meal. Karen and her family were kind, caring and communicative by always trying to improve our stay and providing us with many good recommendations. The house had everything we needed and amply supplied with towels, linens and other households supplies. We enjoyed our peaceful stay at Karen’s house and highly recommend it!

The location of the property is a few kilometers from the Chora/harbour and close to the beaches in the east of the island. You have a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains from the balcony. In the evening you can see the illuminated Mykonos. We hired a car after arriving on Tinos and drove to the property. You can also park there right in front of the house. It is highly recommended to rent a car (before check-in) and leave it after checkout. The apartment was clean, had neat windows and doors with light-proof shutters. The bathroom is large and clean. We felt comfortable and there was plenty of room. Unfortunately, some guests in the house feed the cats from the neighborhood. This means that many cats come to the balcony all the time and begging for food and trying to get into the house. It would make sense to instruct guests not to feed cats. Thank you Eleftherios! A wonderful host in a stunning place...

Great Airbnb experience ! Irini’s house is a beautiful traditional Tinos house built by her husband. It has all the necessary comfort with great attention to details. Beds are excellent and you will find everything you need. While not speaking English, communication with Irini was still easy thanks to her kindness and hospitality. The terrace is large and very pleasant with a beautiful sea view. The house is located 40 meters away from a lovely traditional family taverna where the cooking is particularly excellent compared to other similar spots on the island. All this made our stay (with 3 kids) a great Airbnb experience, we highly recommend !

This is a perfect location if you want to spend some time close to a quiet beach off the main drag, with very few beach club umbrellas. There is wonderful taverna at one end of the beach, and a cafe with a very niche menu at the other end. You will need to hire a car or scooter to get there and make excursions from there - no public transport. We had been to the beach previously so knew our way around and how to get there, so I cannot comment on how accurate George's direction might be because we did not ask for directions. Comfortable bed and linen, and good aircon in case you need it. The only think you might miss is a washing machine.

I loved staying at Apik's place! I went there to write my book, and the peace and quiet helped me accomplish my goal. The view was stunning and the cottage itself was charming. Katerina and Apik were super helpful while I was there too, making it feel like I was staying with family. I would definitely come back to stay again.

Niki and her Mum are best of super hosts!! Their little touches, gifts and home cooked delicacies just make you feel so valued. The apartment itself is just so much more than the photos show. The views are spectacular and as well as being beautifully appointed it is pristine in cleanliness!! We loved our stay and would recommend in a heartbeat!! Niki gave us several local recommendations and all were fabulous. Thanks again Niki!

Despina and her parents received us very well! The house was very clean and no utensils were missing to cook. The terrace is undoubtedly the "plus" of this house, the incredible 180° view of the Aegean Sea is amazing! There's a small shaded beach a 10-minute walk away. Its ideal location makes it easy to visit the island. I would recommend it 100% We had a great time, thanks to Despina and her parents.

Ioannis and his property are 5-star all the way. Ioannis met us and showed us through the apartment and gave instructions about how everything worked. My first impression of the apartment was that it was very clean, bright and airy. Ioannis had stocked the pantry with provisions for the next morning since we'd not have had time to grocery shop which we found extremely helpful. During nice weather, the deck offered views of the sea and, sometimes, we could hear the surf against the rocks. Ioannis messaged me every few days to see how things were and to offer to help with anything needed. He was most proactive and went out of his way like no other host I've ever had. This is Greek hospitality at it's finest.

We had a great time, the view is excellent, the only thing is that it’s very easy to get locked out of the house as the door doesn’t open from the outside even when unlocked.

This was a real treat. For us, this was a holiday to relax and unwind with some great views and some sea to dive into in the mornings. This place was absolutely spotless and designed to a super high standard. The hosts were absolutely superb; with daily cleaning, and all of the useful basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, some local honey, fresh eggs, milk, bread and some booze. Fresh towels were provided regularly and Domenikos gave us a full run down of everything to do in Tinos which was really handy. The views were spectacular from this place and the beach was about a 5-7 minute walk. We went in October, so it's towards the end of the season - if you're looking for a quiet holiday with temperatures within the 20-25ºC region, this is the best time to go. Beach bars are often closed at this time but we were the only ones on the beach. If you have issues with mobility and want to get around the island, hiring a car is a very good idea - the apartment is all on one level.

Maria & Ippokratis were amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts! They went above & beyond and exceeded our expectations. They shared local recipes, picked us up from the port, offered to drive us into town when needed, and told us about the local history. Definitely the best Airbnb experience ever! The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Will be returning and recommending this Villa to family & friends. Thank you again and see you soon. <3

What a beautiful villa! The pool was fantastic, and the views were priceless. We had everything we needed and more. Every detail was thought out perfectly. Kameliya was so friendly, responsive, helpful, and proactive in tending to our needs. She spoiled us with ice cream, cold waters, and espresso cups upon arrival, and had a box of hand me down toys to engage the kiddos. All 8 of us slept comfortably with plenty of AC units on both floors. We used the laundry/wash machine once, and it worked great. Also, the restaurant/tavern Kameliya recommended was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

The house is amazing! The perfect location, private, serene with a great vibe. The house is very organized, excellently structured with great aesthetics and very nice architecture! The rooms were spotless clean as was the kitchen the bathrooms and the outside spaces! The water in the swimming pool was clean and refreshing :) Considers us repeaters!

Lina's house is very nice, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. We were a group of 6 and the house is very spacious. A big thank you to Lina for the generous races that welcomed us on the first day. A small beach a few minutes walk away allows you to swim and have a coffee, which is very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Denise’s place. The house was beautiful, with breathtaking views that made the visit truly special. Denise was very responsive and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay, including recommendations for tavernas and visits. One tip: Get a big car because the house access goes through an unpaved track. Highly recommended!

My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at Arthur’s house. The outdoor patios are perfect for any time of the day—whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks. We always found the ideal spot to relax, enjoy the view, and soak in the atmosphere. The house is spacious and has a quaint, pleasant charm that exceeded our expectations. The pictures (as of August 2024) don’t quite capture just how special this place is. We also loved the warm hospitality of the kind person who came every morning to care for the house and prepared a delicious Greek coffee. It was a great experience, and we would be very happy to return to Syros and stay at Arthur’s house again.

An amazing villa in the most cultural and artistic village of Tinos, walking distance to shops and restaurants but most of all, perfect hospitality in a very well equipped and clean villa with the owners taking all possible precautions to make us feel safe from the virus and enjoy few days of relaxation. Highly recommended!

We rented Anastasio's place for a month. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures, airy, full of light and and gorgeous views from every window. The beach- a 2 minute walk away, was beautiful and wonderful for swimming. The separate studio apt. was perfect for hosting friends. Perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful place right by the sea.

we have just been to this villa with breathtaking views !!! Very nice and cozy villa equipped with all the necessary amenities. The very quiet location and beach 5 minutes away on foot as described and a few minutes by equipped beach scooter. Great
