Mansion holiday rentals in Mediterranean Sea

My husband is in a wheelchair and Maria went out of her way to rent a wheelchair for our stay. The villa looked better in person than in the pictures. Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked, including a juicer for fresh orange juice.

If we could give the castle 10 stars, we would! None of us wanted to leave. The castle with view and surroundings was beautiful and peaceful. Our kids loved learning the history of the castle and of Spain in general from Marc, the host. Marc was always available with anything we needed. We hiked 3 trails from the castle which Marc recommended and we loved them all. The kids enjoyed exploring the castle and property around the castle. They all say it’s the best place we’ve ever stayed! Thank you Marc! We hope to come back one day!:)

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! Amazing home.

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

The villa is a gem. The views are unbelievable, the peacefulness was amazing and there are not enough words for the amount of help Diana gave us. Diana waited for us with fruit, charcuterie board, drinks and home made pastry. She set up all the transportation we requested and gave us suggestions of things to do. She even brought us flour at 9:00 pm so we can make crepes. The only thing that you can’t do is walk to places. So, if you are a walker and want a lot of things to do all day, you might want to pick a different villa. We spent time enjoying the views and peacefulness and had time to go sightseeing.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Madrid. Appartement très spacieux, confortable, conforme aux photos, idéalement situé, à proximité de toutes activités, nous avons pu tout réaliser à pieds. Facile de s’y rendre en métro via l’aéroport. Nous avions demandé une décoration de bienvenue avec des ballons et nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir que notre demande avait été réalisée. Je recommande +++

We cannot say thank you enough to Vanessa. so unbelievably helpful and the most wonderful host. Wonderful gifts upon arrival, and very warm welcome. There was rain forecast on the day we planned our Wedding Day, and Vanessa moved heaven and earth to move all the arrangements to another (sunny) day. It's the most beautiful Villa, in wonderful surroundings, and the best Host ever - my family now call her Saint Vanessa! Thank you!! x

We had a wonderful time at the Villa , the place is Beautiful ,the location is just perfect. The view from the balcony is Indeed breathtaking overlooking the ocean . There is delightful private área for sunbathing . Everything we needed was avalible from the convenience of a washer to a fully assortment of dishes etc . This property is fantástic, highly recommended ! 5 start also for Jason , he was over our expectations . Thank you for making aour holiday the best one ! Will come Back next year for sure .

Der Urlaub in Carolines Haus war so schön und am liebsten wären wir noch länger geblieben. Das Haus ist von innen und außen ein Juwel und in Kombination mit der Gastfreundlichkeit war es für uns ein perfekter Urlaubsort. Vielen Dank Caroline!

I can't say enough positive things about the apartment and Christian. Christian went above and beyond letting us check-in early and meeting us a few blocks from the apartment so that we could unload our luggage before returning the car we rented. He even carried our huge bag up the three flights of stairs! He gave us great restaurant recs and also arranged a car to take us to the airport at the end of our 4 night stay. The apartment is in a prime location right near Comp di Fiori. It was clean, airconditioned and large enough for our group of 7 to spread out. I highly recommend this airbnb!

Zona stupenda. La casa si trova nella fattoria della famiglia Pezzini, un borghetto con una ventina di persone che vi abitano, tra cui la famiglia stessa. Attorno ci sono i maiali di cinta senese, tipici della zona. Il borghetto è una chicca da scoprire, le persone stupende. La casa aveva tutti i comfort, ogni camera con il suo bagno privato, arredata con cura, perfetta per i gruppi di amici o le famiglie. Cristina, la proprietaria, è stata gentilissima e disponibile, e quando c’è stato un malfunzionamento con la jacuzzi su cui non è stato possibile intervenire subito (l’elettricista non arrivava prima di lunedì, ed era sabato) si sono scusati tantissimo e ci sono venuti incontro sul check out prolungato. Veramente una splendida scoperta. Torneremo molto volentieri.

We had the absolute pleasure to stay at Caterinas house to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary with 4 other adults. I chose this listing because the pictures looked like such a romantic house. Arriving to the island of Sicily was breathtaking, and let me tell you, once we arrived to the house, I was speechless. Caterina was there to greet us with such a warm hug. Entering the house stopped me in my tracks. The house exudes romance and actually brought me to tears. It has the perfect quintessential Sicilian decor and charm. The view from the terrace will mesmerize you. It faces West so you will have some of the most spectacular sunsets with views of Sferracavallo in the peripheral. All 6 of us found the mattresses extremely comfortable. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need for a perfect vacation. Caterina is an amazing host. She loves her house and it shows. We will be back! If you want perfection, make her house yours while visiting Sicily.

Wonderful position. Claudia was a very friendly helpful host. However the layout was challenging as the lift was unreliable and 2 of the 4 bedrooms were accessed by further stairs with no complete handrails. The 4th bedroom wouldn’t be suitable for a couple as one side of the bed was open to the stair well. The 7 of us did manage to squeeze onto the small terrace and enjoyed drinks under the stars. We felt that, didn’t mean that safety, stairwell, as the apartment was marketed for 8 people, there should be enough crockery and glasses for 8.

The flat was great just 5 minutes away from many bars and great restaurants. 7 min walk from Galata tower as well as 15-20min from the Grand bazaar. The flat is very comfortable and spacious with a big terrace with a beautiful view of Istanbuls skyline and a jacuzzi which we didn’t use as it was the beginning of the season and the tub wasn’t filled yet and wouldn’t have eco friendly to fill it for 24:00 hours.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Rome with a large group- this is perfect! We had 2 families (10 total) and it was perfect. Great location! Walking distance to so much and not far from public transportation. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

Beautiful property. We stayed as two families of four, and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy. The heated pool was fantastic and well worth the extra money. The house was spotless, very modern design and spacious. The house has excellent facilities. The local area was a little limited. You can walk to Tiki Beach bar, and Ristorante Lampara, which both offered very good local cuisine. However, there was not much to see in the town of Pozzallo. I would recommend hiring a car to visit Noto, and other towns.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful & quiet spot in Noto, Sicily. The location offers stunning views & a true sense of escape, perfect for unwinding. Roberto, the host, was incredibly responsive & welcoming, making everything feel easy from the moment we booked. A special mention goes to Lucky, the friendly caretaker, & his lovely dog Blanko, who quickly became a highlight of our stay. We loved having little visits from Blanko. While the property feels wonderfully remote, I’d definitely recommend hiring a car to explore the area. It’s a great base for visiting the beautiful town of Noto & the stunning seaside village of Marzamemi. All in all, a peaceful stay & highly recommended.

Wir hatten schon viele Häuser in den letzten Jahren aber das Haus von Saro, hatte den bisher besten Standard. die Zimmer haben Top-Hotel-Niveau. Jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Bad und im EG und draußen weitere Toiletten und Duschen. Die Ausstattung insgesamt sehr hochwertig und auch die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, für die angegebenen Personen. Alles sehr angenehm und gelungen, um von der ersten Minuten den Urlaub zu genießen. Zu erwähnen ist der kurze Weg zu einem tollen ruhigen Naturstrand. Und auch hier ist am Haus alles notwendige Equipment, wie Sonnenschirme und Strandsitze. Saro war ein toller Gastgeber der immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit war. Ebenso seine Empfehlungen zu guten Restaurants oder Geschäften. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub. Vielen lieben Dank Saro.

Die Unterkunft war super. Kontakt war sehr gut. Check-in/Check-out problemlos. Die Lage ist toll, 1min zum Meer mit wunderschönen klaren Wasser. Kleine „Probleme“ wurden sofort behoben. Beispielsweise war die Gasflasche zum Grillen leer, wir haben sofort am nächsten Tag eine neue bekommen. Top! Etwas schade war, dass das Sonnensegel auf der Terrasse gefehlt hat, dadurch war es dort am Tag sehr warm, darum haben wir einen Schirm vom Pool auf die Terrasse gestellt. Auch etwas Schade war, dass (wie ich denke) die Putzfrauen wirklich alles entsorgen oder mitnehmen. Dadurch ist die Küche komplett leer. Keine Gewürze, kein Öl/Essig, kein Pfeffer/Salz….. Normalerweise bin ich gewohnt, dass die Küche eine kleine Grundausstattung hat, oder nicht verbrauchte Lebensmittel vom Vorbesitzer in der Wohnung bleiben. Kein Grund deswegen einen Stern abzuziehen :)! Vielleicht ein Verbesserungsvorschlag für die Zukunft. Trotzdem 10/10. Danke!

My family and friends had a simply wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. We chose it because it was a little further off the beaten path and more “authentic old Italian villa” feeling than other places in Sicily. And it delivered exactly the experience we were looking for and more. The villa itself was spacious and yet adorable. Huge old and beautiful windows and doors to bring the outside in. Had everything we needed. The views and outdoor space around the villa were also so lovely and enjoyable. Beautiful little olive orchard. Terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces galore. The game room and pool were awesome for our kids. The pool is unheated, but warm enough to use mid April. But the best part about this villa was the experiences Rosario coordinated for us. We had 2 nights where a chef came over to cook us dinner. The chef turned out to be the neighbor, who cooked the most delicious Sicilian meals we’ve had. She also arranged a visit to a farm and limoncello maker. Amazing!

Wow! This place is amazing! My family and I (party of 7 adults) were in Greece celebrating our oldest son's graduation from medical school and this incredible home allowed us the space and comfort to connect and relax after a busy time in Athens. It could not have been more perfect! This home met and exceeded our expectations from the time of arrival to our departure. The owner/host's hospitality and thoughtfulness was incredible. The home furnishings and beds were so comfortable and we had an immediate sense of peace and relaxation as soon as we opened the door. Much to my delight and surprise our host met us and gave us a tour and provided a time to answer any of our questions and I could not believe my eyes there were groceries in the fridge! All we could need for the next day for breakfast and a little lunch to make our time even more relaxing. There was a wonderful restaurant only a five minute walk down the road with fresh grilled fish that I will dream about for years! Book it!

Let me start by saying that Foteini is one of the best host and one of the sweetest person I've ever met. From the moment the gate opens, your jaw drops in awe. The villa is spotless, and the view is spectacular. Very private, this is the perfect place to relax!

We stayed at Villa Sol De Mar 2 for a week at the end of October. It is in a quiet location, right by the sea. The accommodation has a large parking garage that can be locked overnight. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a large saltwater pool, internet, a gas barbecue, TV in all rooms. we would be happy to come back!
