After 20 years travelling around Algeria, I can say without hesitation that Reda Essaheli, the owner, is a rare figure. A painter, ceramist, builder, musician, handyman and lawyer, he has a unique energy. It all started in 2011, during a lunch with tourists who were passing through after visiting the ruins. After lunch, I suggested that he turn this place into a guest house. In 2019, Reda called me back to celebrate the realisation of this idea, which had become a reality.
