This is the perfect home from which to explore Pitres and the surrounding villages, especially on foot. Tucked up above the town with great views it is full of character and comfort . The woodburner is brilliant for chilly nights as is the steaming hot shower for easing tired muscles after long walks. Guadaloupe is a charming host who really cares for her visitors. Second stay at this Atalbeitar house. Beautiful environment, many walking hikes accessible from the door of the house. We loved the foosball, the cleanliness, and the originality of the house. Very good communication with the host who is very attentive and helpful.

Quaint accommodation. Keep in mind that there is no shop, bar, or anything in the village. The closest town with services is 2 kilometers away walking, although with a considerable altitude up the mountain. Otherwise, a highly recommended and beautiful place.

We liked our stay a lot :) We travellercheques by public transport and Pitres was easy to reach and we could do interesting hikes by foot.
