We had a wonderful stay at "The Lodge." The house was really nice and clean. It was very welcoming and had everything you could think of, including anything you might have forgotten. Our favorite part was hanging out by the fire in the evening and enjoying all the stars you can see! We saw multiple shooting stars and a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Thank you so much, Lisa for letting us enjoy your home for the weekend!

My now fiancé and I stayed here during what I know now was my engagement vacation. This house is small but a perfect size for 2-3 people (sleeps 2 comfortably), genuinely our only “complaint” was that the hot water doesn’t last super long and it turns cold very fast. So just plan to take shorter showers and you’ll be perfect! Close to the beach and everything we wanted to do on our trip. All things considered like the space, price, and the quality of our stay, we would absolutely stay here again and feel like it’s the best deal a couple could find. The host responds fast and was super nice when we forgot our bedsheets at home on the other side of the state. Genuinely zero complaints and would love to stay here again.

This home was exactly what we needed! I highly recommend a winter stay here! It was peaceful and quiet. We went on walks and were the only ones around. I’m sure in the summer it is a hopping place which would be fine too but the quiet winter retreat was perfect! There is a very well supplied kitchen. We had a nice steak dinner for 7 people one evening and everything needed to pull that off was in the kitchen. Very nice!!

I loved this home! We stayed with my extended family & had a great time. I loved the peaceful, private, safe location. This home is a “better than home” experience which is what I look for in Airbnb’s. I felt like I was on vacation the moment I stepped in. We cooked a few meals and had everything we needed, enjoyed the fire pit, and everything was so clean & nice! Plus I loved that the hosts have air purifiers and reverse osmosis water. Just the little things that make it feel that much more bougie!

This was our first trip with our grandkids aged 2 and 5. The location was great as we had family staying in an owned property nearby and another family in an additional airbnb home nearby as well. There is a lot to do in the area and the location of the house central to everything was great. The home was cozy for the 4 of us and such a better option than a hotel room. Lanette was quick to respond to all of our questions and there is a booklet in the house with area recommendations of things to do. The house was clean and very detailed so that it is easy to find everything needed - even the kitchen cabinets are labeled as to where everything is. Because of being there with other family, we were basically there to sleep and for a light breakfast every day so we didn't use all of her amenities but having them there was appreciated. On our next return visit we will definitely stay again if the house is available.

Riverside Beach Cottage - Lake Michigan Access

This was the BEST location and cottage we could have asked for! Great communication from host and such a perfect place for family to gather. Short walk to beach, great fire pit for making smores (a very kind touch with supplies in the host basket), and a peaceful setting on the creek. We would definitely come again!

The cabin and surrounding area were absolutely gorgeous, such a peaceful spot! The space was very functional and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a small hiccup upon arrival, but Melissa responded quickly and was helpful in getting everything sorted. We really appreciated how well-stocked the cabin was, especially with items to use or borrow for the beach. It made our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!
