Blue Gum Cottage is a tiny home on farmland overlooking the gum trees and horses. Enjoy the cozy indoor fire (wood provided) and outdoor fire pit. Space & peace to self isolate in beautiful surroundings with lots of trees & fabulous views. Sit by the wood combustion fire & warm your soul or lie in until lunchtime in soft linen sheets, listening to birdsong. Lost in the Vines is a very private space in the McLaren Vale wine district, surrounded by vines & views, with lots of great walks, wineries & restaurants nearby. Strout Farm Cottage Est. 1842.

Strout Farm Cottage still belongs to the Strouts who have lived here for more than 180yrs. Starting with Richard Strout, there have been 7 generations of Strouts live in this cottage. Most of the furniture, photos and ornaments come with a story of where they fit in the Strout timeline. Those looking for exercise we have a tennis court and the Shiraz trail is adjacent.
