2 Bed Cottage close to Slane/Drogheda/Ballymagarve

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a great stay at Chris’ place. Just a couple of nights but the beds were comfy and the kitchen was perfect for preparing a dinner at home one night. Lots of light streaming in. The bottle of wine was much appreciated. The house was very close to our Newgrange tours and an afternoon walk at the Hill of Tara. Chris recommended Tribe in Duleek for dinner one night. In an old church with a ruin right next door, it was a wonderful night. Thanks Chris!!

Beautiful little country cottage in picturesque location. We only had one night, wish it had been more. Denise is delightful and communicated very quickly.

Pure relaxation in a stunning setting We felt welcome from the very first moment. The wide-open landscape and beautiful nature were truly refreshing and added so much to our sense of relaxation. The Airbnb was spotless, tastefully decorated, and the fireplace made it extra cozy. Larissa was super friendly and provided helpful information! A fantastic experience – highly recommended!

Carnuff Lodge

The location was private and peaceful but close enough to get to Navan for pubs, restaurants, etc. It was easy to find and Breege couldn't have been more kind and helpful. The addition of the washer was a plus. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was spacious which was not the case in most of our stays. I would definitely stay there again.

We fell in love with this little cottage and the beautiful piece of countryside and community that it’s nestled in. Not only was the location perfect for us to day trip around the west coast,Dublin and venture into Northern Ireland, it was so cozy just to stay in, really wished we had more time! The local pub is a five minute walk and so friendly! Side note..we also were very impressed with all the hard work and renovations it took to restore this quaint cottage! So glad we were able to enjoy it, cheers!!

Had a lovely stay at Elma's cottage. The location was peaceful and serene and Elma was a joy to deal with. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with everything we needed within. Also, Sirius the dog was an added bonus. We will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Beautiful Country House near Dublin

TraciRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Rossnaree House is not a modern fru fru boutique hotel, but rather a delightful glimpse into the Ireland of long ago, a disappearing Ireland. All of the furnishings and decorations have family meaning, going back generations. Juxtaposed with that are the bathrooms, which have been tastefully modernized…the result is a lovely mixture of the old and the new. This house simply reeks of history and authenticity. The views from the rooms and the gardens are stunning…this area is the heartbeat of Mystical Ireland and if you allow you can and will be transported to another time, another realm. There are walkways down to the River Boyne and the ancient burial mound of Newgrange is close by. Simply stated this is as real and as authentic as it gets. Come with an open mind…but do come, fantastic…oh, and there are peacocks!
