Brittany was a great host. When we arrived there was a power outage due to a bad storm that had passed through. She was super responsive and helped us find the torches and firewood. She also ordered us some pizzas since we weren’t able to use any appliances. It was also my birthday week and she had cupcakes for my arrival. It was very sweet. The house was spacious and decorated super cute. The laundry room was huge and fully stocked. Closer to McCaysville than downtown Blue Ridge for a quick dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at Hannah and James’s Airbnb! The Mountain View was beautiful (something we don’t get to see as much in Atlanta), and the fenced-in yard was such a bonus for our dogs. The room itself was spotless, which was a relief since cleanliness is something I always pay close attention to. This place exceeded expectations :) The location was ideal. We found a cute little coffee shop nearby, and there was also a good barbecue restaurant in the same area. We also went Whitewater rafting, and the outfitting company we booked with was only two minutes down the road, which made things super convenient. Hannah and James were fantastic hosts. They were very communicative and accommodating. We’d definitely love to stay here again next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

17 Steps is an excellent retreat for a larger group -suited our extended family of 11 very comfortably. The place is well equipped with lots of ways to keep everyone engaged with something to do, whether as a few individuals or the entire group. The firepit has plenty of seating for all to gather around. The kitchen is well equipped with most of your needs for preparing for large parties. We loved the constant sound of the stream nearby and the easy access to trout fishing (catch and release right at the cabin, but Horseshoe Bend Park in McCaysville is < 10 minute drive from cabin and regularly stocked by the state). A lovely, peaceful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin nestled along the serene Fighting Town Creek. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful surroundings and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of the cabin. Our family especially appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which made it easy to prepare home-cooked meals together—it truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept soundly each night after days filled with exploring and relaxing by the water. This cabin provided the perfect setting for unwinding. We can’t wait to return!

we really enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin. everything was very clean. We found there was everything you would expect or need for a week of relaxing and enjoying the North Georgia mountains. The beds were comfortable, not super soft. We actually need a very soft bed so we put a topper on and it was perfect. The cabin is located between blairsville and Blue ridge. It's about 15 minutes to either and there is a very nice little winery about 10 minutes away. (The Living Water Winery.) The cabin would be great for two couples. We would certainly love to come back for another visit.
