Newly renovated two-story duplex in a funky neighborhood with an outstanding bar down the street. A little tricky to navigate the tight streets but close to a very nice established neighborhood. Good place with comfortable beds.

A GEM of a place! I stayed for one night with my baby and puppy. This is an incredible airbnb for a family to stay! The nursery had toys that my son thought were put there just for him (it really felt that way!) I didn't have to pull out our travel crib because THERE IS A CRIB! The hosts were very helpful and available and accommodating. Luxurious linens, comfortable furniture and beds. Stunning neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful home with plenty of space! Loved the setup of the bunk room, quite creative. We didn't know the pool wasn't open yet, which was a bummer, but Garry called and provided other entertainment options, going above and beyond. Turned out to be a rainy weekend anyway. Lots to do, inside and out. We even caught some BIG fish in the pond. Pickleball was a big hit, even in the rain. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is very nice and the location is excellent. The area is pleasant and you can get everywhere. The apartment has everything you need and is comfortable. Sara was also very helpful and took care of everything within a few minutes and solved problems quickly. The accommodation is highly recommended.

Only 10 mins from the airport, this is a super cute apartment at the top of a hill in a private residential area. While the hill is steep, it makes for a very pretty view from the patio area! Most restaurants/bars/shopping are within a 15-min walk or 5 min drive, which allows for convenient outings for those without a car or cheap ride-share options. For an apartment complex, we never heard any of our neighbors, which was nice. Erin was great! She was very nice and accommodating for all our travel needs! My only suggestion is maybe a portable fan, as it can get a little toasty in the bedroom (if you’re anything like us and prefer to be cold when you go to sleep). Thanks for a great stay!

This was my second stay at The Cottage, and it was just as enjoyable as my first. Everything was as I expected, clean and well organized for my stay. I especially enjoyed the comfy chair in the living room for relaxation after a busy day. The bed was also very comfortable and provided the rest I needed each evening. I also enjoyed the sounds and sights of a working farm when outside. (They were inaudible when inside the home.) The miniature/baby goats feeding outside of an evening were adorable. I also stopped in town and picked up some treats for Lu Lu the family pup as well as her sidekicks the Siamese and the gray cat. I enjoyed animals very much as it reminded me of the animals I have at home. Steve and his family were very hospitable, and I enjoyed visiting with them also. They are very friendly and gracious folks. Steve's Cottage will by my first pick the next time I am in the Talladega area. It's a home away from home and a true blessed experience.

Erin and Cory were quick to respond to all messages before and during our stay. The home was very clean and we enjoyed spending our nights there while in town for a baseball tournament. We also enjoyed the heated pool which was also clean and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I stayed at Sarah’s place for a month and it was amazing. The apartment was super clean and had everything I needed for my stay. Communication was always great, and Sarah helped me with everything. The check-in instructions were very clear, and I had no issues arriving late at night. There’s a supermarket very close by and plenty of restaurants around. It’s also very close to the park, which is great. I came for a one-month observership at UAB Hospital, and the location couldn’t have been better. Thank you, Sarah!

Wonderful home! We felt very at ease and welcome. We were there to help move our granddaughter into the dorms at University of Montevallo. The house was only a short drive away and very convenient to stores and restaurants. Our granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the treasure hunt to find the key to the wardrobe, and she loved having her own bedroom instead of us staying in a hotel. The kitchen was very adequate for the simple meals we fixed during the week. And it was nice to be able to do our laundry before heading home. Highly recommend this house and our hostess, Gabrielle!

Stayed here for the weekend for my daughter’s wedding. Marcus was easy to communicate with. Had zero issues and house was very spacious and comfortable.

Our daughter's wedding was at the Barn at Shady Lane just right across the road. It was convenient not only to the venue but to some great restaurants and even a Publix grocery store up the road. We would recommend this place to family and friends even if there was not wedding going on for them. Norman was an excellent host and communicated very well. Good guy.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Booked it for the night before my wedding and the night after. It was the perfect place to rest and get ready with my girls! 10/10 would recommend.

We recommend staying with Jackie and Glamping here. Cold spell , but that's January. Perhaps an extra heater. Very nice Camper! Linens are top shelf. Bed is comfort for my back! We packed light so having easy access to washer and dryer was awesome. Puppy and I had lots of running area outside. We enjoyed the Glamping Life. Please look for us next winter!

I enjoyed my stay and the host was friendly and responsive. It was fairly quiet. There is a low traffic road just beyond the trees and other dogs nearby so leashing your fur buddy may be necessary. Watch out for poison ivy. Lots of it along the tree line and interspersed. My fuzz bucket was nice enough to share it. So know what it looks like, and steer your dog clear. Streaming channels and internet available was convenient. Verizon mobile doesn't work, so only Wi-Fi calls were available. The large pond is a short walk behind the home. It stormed a lot while I was there and didn't get to take advantage so I can't attest to the fishing. The home was small, clean, and cute. All essentials were there. The bed was extremely large and comfy. The drive into Tuscaloosa is an easy one, otherwise only small convenience stores nearby, as expected with a rural area and cabin. I would recommend.
