Home only eight minutes to the PDX airport. Short walk to eats, bars, wine shop, grocery store, and boutique shops. Wellington Park is only one block away.

It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay. If you enjoy the snow and want to ski, snowboard or snowshoe the mountain is within an hour of Portland. Even better, if you don't want to drive you can catch the shuttle bus from the near by transit center up to the resorts.
