Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mauritius

Der Bungalow ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Das Holzhaus ist wertig und reduziert aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Veranda mit Blick in den Garten ist ein echtes Highlight. Man ist in der Natur, mit allem drum und dran. Der Blick ist wirklich traumhaft. Der sehr nahe Strand hat uns nicht besonders gefallen, auch wenn es für die Kinder spannend war die Flugzeuge zu beobachten. Ansonsten ist die Lage gut für Ausflüge nach Le Morne, die Südküste, Chamarel und den Nationalpark. Die Kommunikation mit Olivier war einfach. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern da, deshalb ein besonderer Blick: das Holz knarzt ganz schön, auch die Türen. Für geräuschempfindliche Kinder abends/ nachts schwierig. Außerdem sind Hunde auf dem Grundstück, die sehr lieb sind und uns meist nicht beachtet haben. Dennoch nicht jedermanns Sache.

The Villa is amazing. Very peaceful, safe and has a beautiful beach front view. Its extremely spacious with a huge living room and dining. Kitchen has all the amenities required. The best part is the outside sitting area where they also have an 8 seater dining table, where you can sit and enjoy the view of the calm beach. The view of the sunset is breathtaking from here. Swimming pool is very clean and regularly maintained. Master bedroom is quite big. The host of the villa Asvin, is extremely helpful and friendly. Him and the manager Sudesh made sure that we checked in properly and made sure that we were comfortable during our entire stay. Some good restaurants to try, nearby, are Village Cafe (Bf) Chessy Latte (Pizzas), Happy Rajah (Indian) and Chamarel Panoramic Viewpoint Restaurant (Amazing view). Grocery store, London bay, is also very nearby. Overall we loved the place and had an amazing time at the Villa !!

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Valerie . La maison est très agréablement à vivre et le jardin ainsi que la piscine apportent un havre de paix et de fraîcheur ! L’emplacement est très bien situé pour profiter des points touristes dans le sud de l’ile. Valérie a été une hôte très attentive et elle nous a donné pleins d’adresses utiles. Merci à Valérie pour ce merveilleux séjour.

David was a communicative and welcoming host. The apartment was spacious, with much-appreciated A/C in the bedrooms, and the location was a short distance to the meeting point for the boat tours. David met us for check-in, shared helpful local recommendations, and kindly allowed a late check-out so we could shower after our tour.

Emplacement exceptionnel, vue tout droit sortie d’un rêve (ou d’une carte postale qu’on n’a pas envie de quitter). Le jardin est un petit coin de paradis, entretenu par un jardinier d’une extrême gentillesse – on aurait presque voulu l’inviter à l’apéro ! Aucun point négatif… si ce n’est qu’il faut partir à un moment donné (et ça, c’est cruel) . Bref, on reviendra, c’est une évidence !

Staying at Sharvins was amazing. with views of the bay a standout. very relaxing with nice restaurants within a short distance. sharvin and family made us very welcome.

We are very happy with our stay at this fantastic villa. The villa has everything you need. The host are very nice with good communication. Thanks to Norberg we felt very welcomed and got good recomendations for restaurants and trips. The villa is in a quiet, safe, private area. You have a nice small beach in walkdistance. And the view is absolutley amazing with perfect sunset. The host let us check out late on our departureday when we had an eveningflight, with no extra charge. We definitely recomend this place!!

We were welcomed into the home on our arrival with great communication. The property is located in a very secure gated community with guards. The property was spotless and maintained to a high standard. It felt very homely and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and living areas. All the rooms had both AC and a ceiling fan with remote control setting which was very convenient. The location was great for us to get to a few of our adventures which I clouded casella nature park and tamarin falls. Also only 7min drive to flic en flac with numerous restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit mauritius. Also had a lovely view from the terrace!

5/5 Sterne! Wir hatten ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in dieser traumhaften Airbnb-Wohnung in La Gaulette, Mauritius! Die Wohnung war sauber, modern und komfortabel eingerichtet. Der Blick auf die Berge und das Meer von der riesigen Dachterrasse war atemberaubend. Die Lage war perfekt für uns um den kompletten Süden der Insel zu Erkunden. Dhareena war sehr gastfreundlich und hat uns bei allen Fragen geholfen. Ihre Eltern haben uns Empfangen und sie waren unglaublich freundlich. Durch Verspätung unseres Fluges und Problemen mit dem Mietwagen sind wir erst viel später als vereinbart an der Wohnung angekommen, auch das war kein Problem und durch die gute Kommunikation mit Dhareena hat alles perfekt geklappt. Wir können diese Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Marie. Coup de coeur de notre voyage pour l'hébergement mais aussi le lieu ! tout était génial ! l'appartement, la terrasse, la climatisation dans les chambres, très peu de moustiques. En plus, la maman de Marie nous préparait à manger tous les soirs et c'était super bon ! je vous recommande vivement ce service supplémentaire. Village du Morne est très sympa, avec quelques restaurants locaux pour manger, quelques supérettes. Nous reviendrons à cette adresse !

We spent a great holiday in the ground floor Black reef apartment. The apartment is huge & well equipped. Kitchen includes all stuff you need to cook, from pots & pans to microwave & cooking machine. There is a huge fridge, coffee device and all tableware you need. The bedroom is nice and big, as well as bathroom that includes shower & bath tube. Everything is clean and very well preserved, exactly like in the photos. The terrace is opening to the sea and beach, that is very clean, too. There is a heated pool in the garden that is shared with tenants of the other two floors. The beach is nice but rocky, you can go into the water in front of the villa, but is better to use one of the very nice public beaches that are in walking distance. There is a supermarket where you can find almost everything & a very nice beach club (Le Plage) in 10 minutes walking distance and few restaurants closer. Communication was easy with both owner and local responsible person. Everything was perfect & top!

L'appartamento era pulito e profumato, tutto in ordine e dotato di tutte le necessità. Meera si è rivelata squisita e molto ospitale. La consiglio a tutti.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour d’une semaine dans le logement d’Anne et Dominique. Ce sont des hôtes très disponibles et réactifs et ils nous ont donné les meilleures recommandations des activités et restaurants alentours. Ils sont chaleureux et aiment recevoir des visiteurs. Le logement offrait une superbe vue sur la baie de Tamarin et nous avons vu des couchers de soleil incroyables. Le logement a tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon moment (accueil, barbecue, piscine, proximité des excursions …). Nous recommandons assurément ! Amicalement, Thibault et Céline

Buongiorno. abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento di Christofer una settimana. L'appartamento è tenuto molto bene, pulito e con una signora che ogni tanto viene a pulirlo. E' situati al centro del paese nella via dello shopping e vicino a ATM e supermarket. L'appartamento è dotato di tutti i confort tranne la lavastoviglie. La terrazza all'ora del tramonto è spettacolare. Christofer con noi è sempre stato presente e gentilissimo in tutto: ci ha trovato un taxi che ci portava in giro, organizzato bellissime gite in barca ed al check out ci ha lasciato per un pò piu tempo la casa, in poche parole una persona squisita. Stayed here during our holiday to Mauritius, we wanted a night on the west coast for the sunset and you can see that without leaving the balcony. Ms Sheela showed us around and explained everything. Lots of lovely little homely touches like beer in the fridge and soft drinks, toiletries, and even binoculars even to try and spot whales/ dolphins. Patio is huge plenty of space , hosts replied to messages promptly and always answered any questions. Ms sheela and pothano were very accommodating and adaptable to any amendments throughout. We would 100% recommend and happily stay here for a full holiday.

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war fantastisch. Auch wenn wir verspätet ankamen, waren die Gastgeber sehr flexibel. Der Check-In war schnell und einfach, was nach der langen Reise sehr angenehm war. Zusätzlich erhielten wir von J.C. direkt nach Check-In eine Liste mit allem was man für seine Zeit in Mauritius benötigt (Restaurantempfehlungen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Vorschläge für Unternehmungen). J.C. und Vero waren dauerhaft erreichbar und man konnte Ihnen jederzeit Fragen und Anliegen mitteilen. Egal was man brauchte, sie waren immer sehr zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft war genau wie sie beschrieben und abgebildet war. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft wundervoll und wir werden wieder bei J.C. und Vero bleiben, wenn wir erneut nach Mauritius reisen.

Ambroise is a great host.... very responsive and detailed from Day 1. The property was clean and well maintained. The two turtles at his place are fun to watch and Ambroise was kind enough to lend his private Kayaks to us. It was a fun experience exploring the reef on the Kayak. Thanks for having us Ambroise!

We had a wonderful week in Tatiana's beautiful apartment. The view of the Indian ocean was spectacular. We practically had the pool and beach to ourselves when we were there as very few others around. Tatiana was very responsive, particularly when we had an issue with the hot water on day one. It was all fixed very quickly. I hope one day we can return as it was the perfect base for us to explore the area. Thank you!

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at this property in Flic en Flac! The host(Tawhida) was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and personally came to meet us during check-in. She gave us a clear walkthrough of the house, which really helped us settle in quickly. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Flic en Flac public beach. Perfect for morning strolls or catching the sunset! The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and felt like home. We especially appreciated the dedicated covered parking space, which made things very convenient as we had a rental car. Check-out was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay in Flic en Flac. 🌴🌊

Ashvin nous a parfaitement accueilli dans son logement à la Gaulette. Nous avons bien discuté avec lui, il a été de très bon conseil pour des restaurants et activités aux alentours. Son logement est impeccable, avec toutes les commodités nécessaires, et d’une propreté irréprochable ! La vue sur le Morne et la verdure alentour est vraiment un plus. Tolles Wohnappartement mit eigenen Gelände und eigenen Parkplatz. Einfache aber hilfreiche Ausstattung war vorhanden. Der Gastgeber war immer stets bemüht, damit uns nichts fehlt. Küche, Waschmaschine waren auch sehr hilfreich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden die Unterkunft klar weiterempfehlen.

The apartment is very cosy and Teddy was a very kind and attentive host. There's a lot to discover in the surrounding area, and several good restaurants are within walking distance. I definitely recommend staying here.

Océane is an excellent host, she was super responsive and provided us with great local recommendations. The studio is as described in a beautiful small garden.

Naushikha is a great host, and very proactive with helpful information, the apartment is well located for exploring all that Grand Baie has to offer!
