“Judith is a wonderful host! My friend and I stayed for four nights at the Old Packhouse B&B as part of a road trip of the Far Northland. The private upstairs accomodation was perfect for two friends with a bedroom each. The living area is comfortable and well equipped to make a meal when needed. Judith provided plenty of clean towels, took our dishes to the dishwasher downstairs and offered to wash clothes for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated Judith’s thoughtful hospitality. Each morning she prepared a very nice breakfast of our choice. Judith was very knowledgeable about the Northland and gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants and places we should see during our visit. We enjoyed the tour of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds on one day; and another day Judith recommended a lovely lunch with a beautiful view overlooking the Bay of Islands at Omata Estate near Okiato, then a visit to picturesque Russell. Judith’s home is in a very pleasant rural setting only a short drive into Kerikeri. Close by Judith’s are places of natural beauty and history. We visited the historic Stone Store and the Mission Station which is the oldest building in New Zealand. There is a nice cafe beside the Mission Station. We also had an excellent dinner at the beautiful Plough & Feather pub next to the Stone Store. Well worth a visit. I would recommend The Old Packhouse as a lovely place to stay.”

“We spent a very relaxing week at Dominique's beautiful house and would have been happy to have stayed much longer. The secluded location, with forest views to one side and ocean views/sounds to the other, is remarkably peaceful. Dominique's modern house has been tastefully decorated in quite a unique and somewhat quirky style. We loved the well stocked and functional kitchen, which made us feel right at home from the get go. The local coves and beaches are delightful. Communication with Dominique was very easy. We look forward to returning some day.”
