We had a great stay at Murali's place. It was really nice to have use of the kitchen, fridge and water filter. The gardens and the animals are lovely. There are a couple of eating places nearby and you can easily catch a bus into town. Murali was a great host and booked us a tuk tuk to our next stop. Thanks a lot!

I had an extremely short stay at Sangara's house. I underestimated the time that it would take me to get there and arrived at midnight. Sangara's and her daughter were still waiting for me, and I cannot thank them enough as I don't know what I would have done if they hadn't. They gave me all the information that I needed and I had a restful night in the little room with a nice balcony. I can say that it was nicely located near the lagoon and town and it also had a nice garden.

Joseph is a great host! He has planned every part of the villa very tastefully and feels very rich! Would recommend everyone travelling to Eastern SriLanka to just book and stay at this home!! Brilliant place, great host!!

Wat een geweldig avontuur in Batticaloa! Onze host Javid was ongelooflijk vriendelijk, goedlachs en altijd klaar om ons verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Ondanks onze laattijdige boeking zetten hij en zijn familie hun plannen opzij om alles tiptop in orde te brengen. De accommodatie aan de lagoon bood een prachtig uitzicht en ‘s ochtends verraste Javid’s mama ons met een heerlijk Sri Lankaans ontbijt. Javid nam ons mee naar een adembenemende, verborgen strandplek waar we genoten van de zee, de lagoon en een uniek lokaal vissersmoment. Hij bracht zelf spullen mee en regelde een tuk tuk voor ons. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Deze warme familie deed er werkelijk alles aan om ons thuis te laten voelen. Een ervaring die we nooit vergeten. Dankjewel voor alles! We hebben er enorm van genoten! we komen zeker terug! Echt werkelijk waar, de beste locatie waar we in heel Sri Lanka terecht konden komen! Shoutout naar jullie en heel veel liefde vanuit het verre België!

Die Unterkunft ist klein aber fein. Die Hütte ist funktionell ausgestattet und man hat auf wenig Raum, alles was man braucht. Das Resort, in dem sie liegt hat uns positiv überrascht. Ein Pool war nur wenige Meter entfernt und meistens waren wir die einzigen Nutzer. Die Anlage ist sehr grün und gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut und reichlich und der Service in höherem Standart, als wir es von den sonstigen Lokalen, die wir in Sri Lanka besucht haben, gewohnt sind.
