Holiday rentals with beach access in Markey Township

The place was very clean, which is always my #1 priority. It was tastefully decorated. There was a musty smell, I’m sure caused by the concrete. We left the windows open and febreezed often and that seemed to help. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the bed. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. I would stay here again, if there was a different mattress and pillows. The location was great for us! The traffic noise wasn’t a problem for us. We really enjoyed the short walk to the water! Very nice.

Wonderful place to stay off-season. Exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient and effortless check-in check-out.

We loved being right in the heart of it all - walking distance to the beach, the marina, plus the many eateries in the downtown area. The space was clean and quaint and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a small sun porch we could sit in to drink our coffee and watch passersby. We were planning to eat out so it was no trouble for us that this studio was not equipped for any cooking. We did have a nice mini fridge with a freezer for drinks and snacks. As soon as we arrived in town we watched the sunset at the marina and saw the northern lights immediately afterward! Guess it just worked out that night. Stacy was excellent with communication both by phone call and text. The shower was nice and hot but be aware there is a curtain dividing the bathroom rather than an actual door. Would highly recommend WaterFire winery a short 10 minute drive away. We love all of the water views in the area and walking to everything so we would be pleased to stay here again.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Juli Lynne's place is very comfortable, very livable, very clean, and right next to a wonderful county park where you can take a nice walk. Juli Lynne was very nice, very communicative and made sure we were satisfied with everything, and we were. It was a great place for a weekend getaway!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

Place was extremely clean and everything as advertised. Communication was smooth. The people above us partied all night and had a dog that barked until 1am so that part sucked but not really the Airbnb’s fault.

This studio condo was great! It was super clean with all the amenities I needed. Only thing the kitchen didn’t have was an oven, but I didn’t need it. Did I mention how clean it was? It was great to be right on the lake and there is also a small nature area next to it with walking paths

My family and I stayed here for a Memorial weekend. We were able to relax and unwind in the beautiful house and yard. We loved the wood supply for outdoor fires and the kitchen for the ability to cook 2 dinners and all breakfast meals in it. We appreciated the comfort of the house and the quietness of the neighborhood

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

We had an awesome weekend stay at Higgins hideout. Tara, was an amazing host. She was very hospitable, and quick to reply with any questions we had. The property was as beautiful as described, inside and out. Not to mention the convenience of the state park/boat launch being only a couple minute drive! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at the chalet on our trip to cross-country ski in the area. Great location and quiet. Appreciated the treats (hot cocoa and s’mores). Kids loved the upstairs. Super comfy beds and nice open layout. Snowed quite a bit before and during our stay- excellent ski conditions and we enjoyed exploring the many xc ski areas within 7-25 min drive (XC Ski Headquarters, Forbush Corner, Hanson Hills, Hartwick Pines). Best lunch was at The Stone Turtle Cafe at XC Ski Headquarters.

not only is this a cute little place to stay but super close to trails and town! Amy was also so helpful and very quick to respond before and after booking! Will be rebooking in the future!

This spot is such a gem, and so is Fran! Highly recommend staying here, every detail is thought out which makes a little vacation so easy! The views are gorgeous!

Fabulous place to call home for a few days for a conference being held at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Holly was the consummate host, communicative and helpful with questions. If you are a golfer, you can't find a better spot.

We will definitely book this place again if we need to be close to the Grand Traverse Resort again. Its very clean, very comfortable, and the the views are really nice. It's just far away enough from downtown to be quiet and peaceful.

Had a great stay! I come into this area frequently for work and this was a great alternative to the Hotel costs which are astronomical in this area during the summer months. Place was clean, easy to access and was just what I needed for a few days in town.

Our stay was relaxing and exactly what we needed. The walk to the water was short and easy, giving us great views of the sunset.

We stayed here for the Iceman bike race. It was a great location for our needs. Mike was proactive and gave us all instructions needed for check-in well in advance. Place was as described and had everything we needed. Would recommend!

The condo was very cute and clean. Very good communication with the host. No issues checking in or checking out and we had everything that we needed right there.
