Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Markermeer

It was all as described, the location and scenery were wonderful. It was definitely worth it for the money. It could have been a little cleaner (bedding or bed) but overall we had a very nice vacation

First of all the host is incredibly welcoming and proactive. He is very communicative and responsive to all your needs. Also he is very flexible with the check in and check out times. In addition, it is an amazing home that is near all the facilities you need to make your vacation a perfect one. Wonderful restaurants are in walking distance as is the supermarket and public transportation is easy accessible. The house was spotless and even better than pictured in listing. The host left us a wonderful welcome present to make us feel at home. In addition the house was stocked with all the necessities. In summary the house is filled with top-notch amenities, has an amazing location and an incredible host to give you and your family an unforgettable vacation. We definitely will be back in the near future.

We had a great holiday in this house. The house is great in terms of amenities,look and garden and suitable for two families. The surroundings are beautiful and for active people who also want to walk or cycle. Clear recommendation 🙌🏻

The place was quiet. The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished. So you felt right at home. Victor and his wife were very kind and always responsive. The accommodation is fully recommended. There are many beautiful things to explore not far, such as the center of Edam or the promenade of Volendam. Be sure to go to Amsterdam with the bus. Super easy and you can get to the city center very quickly.

Had a very nice stay with six of us! Wonderful garden with hot tub! We have completely relaxed. Highly recommended in terms of surroundings too! Lots to do nearby. Only recommendations are; some extra glassware for a group of 6 people and a table lamp for inside and outside:)

We had a great three night stay at Sylvia’s & Eric’s, easy walk to metro line to get into Delft, Rotterdam or The Hague. Grocery store a few blocks w/ATM so got some Euros using our MC Debit Card. Kitchen had microwave, oven and two burner hotplate. Bed was comfy, we are two bigger guys and had no problem with space. Shower was great, plenty of hot water & pressure & towels. Could use a new pan or two but Sylvia let us borrow one. W&D used for three loads (10 euros), was in their home so had limits in terms of use, but generous w/availability. Drip coffee maker & small French press, offered free coffee which was nice. No paper products like napkins / paper towels, and needs more than just salad forks to use. Body wash & shamp yes, needs conditioner as well. Patio area nice, table & chairs in their back garden area, free parking on site, nice n’hood. Cold floor, (slab) apt below home w/ good lighting. Wash cloths, foil needed. Overall very pleased highly recommend, nice & quiet

Especially the modest hospitality of Wim, Renée and Teske feels sincere and warm and makes for us that this is one of the best Airbnber experiences so far (and we already have quite a bit).

Perfect for Rotterdam AHOY and great communication

Marietta's house is located in the beautiful town of Muiderberg, from where we are completely uncomplicated to Amsterdam for three days. The house is very well maintained, surrounded by old trees and many detached villas. The apartment furnished, there were small welcome gifts such as chocolates, cheese and wine. Thank you for this. After sightseeing in the city, we ended the evening in Muiderberg on the beach. Have a great stay.

The place was great, very modern and looked like the pictures. We felt very comfortable. The pool was also great!

Place was great for our family, clean, tidy and kitchen has everything we need for. Keukenhof is 10 minutes drive, Amsterdam short train ride away. There is parking front of the building. Beds are comfortable no complains. bathroom was spotless clean. Highly recommended Mark's place. He was so helpful and answers every message so prompt as well. Thank you Mark.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic week.

We enjoyed the attractively furnished cottage and the beautiful surroundings. In the cottage there were also all kinds of games, drawing stuff with coloring books for the kids and good books to read. We were able to relax and do nice things nearby. The contact with Nienke was very pleasant, in advance we received a clear description of the cottage and also all kinds of tips to do nearby. Nice to see how they built this cottage themselves and were able to make it such a cozy place!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We absolutely loved our stay, the air bnb itself is lovely with a lovely garden for our little dog. We came for tulip season so it was a great base to see the tulips, cycle round Kinderdijk, visit Gouda, and go for walks on the beach. The apartment has everything you need and the hosts and their dog are lovely and very responsive

Loved staying at Danielle’s cabin. She’s a great host and goes above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Beautiful walks all around and a beautiful little town in its self. Would highly recommend for a solo or couple get away and I would definitely stay here again! 5* All around!

The stay included everything you know and love the Netherlands for. Rural idyll, manicured courtyards, serenity and kindness. Perfect for families with small children. Everything is safe. You can just let the children run and play while you sit and watch in front of the cottage yourself. The fact that the cabin didn't have electricity was not an issue. There was a freezer and the phone could be charged in the sweet little shop. The hosts were VERY nice, always eager, always friendly and great at interacting with the children. The whole concept is lived with love. And to do our utmost respect for eating together or cooking with and for so many guests. You have to be able to do that first. Highlight were the small enclosures with the many great animals. All the kids were crazy about the guinea pigs. (Even though they sometimes have to participate a lot) Parents should keep an eye on how the children handle them. 100% recommendation!
