Or find peace on the water with our canoes, recommended! Our atmospheric cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials from the old auction of Avenhorn. Conveniently located 10-40 km from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But certainly also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to forget, the coast of Noord Holland.

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Zwiethouse is located on Klein Landgoed (1 ha), next to Soestdijk Palace and Drakensteyn Castle. From the house in the woods (located in privacy), beautiful views into nature! Many birds, including owls, squirrels, and you can regularly see deer! Walk/bike (for rent) through the Baarn woods, to the Soesterduinen, eat pancakes in Lage Vuursche, by bike boat to Spakenburg or shopping in Amsterdam, Amersfoort or Utrecht. Casa Petite: holiday cottage with garden and parking

In a rural setting, in a unique place in the Randstad, is the Casa Petite vacation home. Originally an old barn, but renovated, preserved and equipped with every comfort. It is free-standing, has a private terrace with garden and private parking. Close by is a lot of culture, nature, beach and Amsterdam. In the old center of characteristic and unique Broek in Waterland in a barn rebuilt in 2017 behind the farm. Entirely private home with access (self check-in). Split-level with private garden. Downstairs (24 m2) is the living room with sofa, mini kitchen, dining area and separate bathroom and toilet. On the loft is the bedroom with double bed, plenty of closet space, hang and lay. WiFi available. There are two bicycles (Veloretti) for rent, 10.00 per bicycle per day.

Studio on houseboat on the outskirts of Amsterdam

Are you tired of the city? Are you looking for a special destination for a vacation in your own country? I would like to welcome you to my unique location in the middle of the countryside of Waterland. Just 15 minutes from the city center of Amsterdam, and a stone's throw from picturesque Broek in Waterland, lies my houseboat. To reach the yard, use a small ferry to cross the Broekervaart. The ferry is, by the way, private property, and is only used by my guests.

Noorder Huisje

Beautiful cottage with a beautiful wide view over the meadows. There is room for 2 adults and possibly 1 baby up to 1 year old. There is a camping bed available for the baby. It is a lovely cozy cottage within walking distance of the bustling & picturesque city center of Voorthuizen. Voorthuizen is the perfect gateway to the Veluwe because of its convenient location. A good base for many hiking and biking trails, and there is plenty to do in the area.
