Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Marco de Canaveses

We had such an amazing time. I can't see how this stay could have been better. It was just perfect. The friendly and peaceful montain house to disconnect from city center on the weekend. Thank you again for hosting us. Totally recommand you to go ! We'll come back asap !

We had a wonderful time in Portugal, and Antonio's place was a perfect base for our day trips. The house was lovely with lots of space and beautiful decor. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. The gardens had lots to explore, and fruit trees and a vegetable patch. Our children loved the house and we all had lots to do, including a playroom with loads of toys, dozens of boardgames, and just really nice spots to sit and read. Antonio was super friendly, very easily contactable, very quick to respond, and gave us lots of nice suggestions. We've had an amazing time at his amazing family home!

Fantastically beautiful location and a very nice BnB. Absolutely recommended. Beautiful swimming pool and beautiful garden with BBQ. Helena and Luis are super good and helpful hosts with good tips and advice. Helped us very well when we had an accident, really top hosts!!

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

Spectacular farmhouse. All the spaces were comfortable, from the bedrooms to the living room and kitchen, as well as the leisure space outside the home. Super tidy, with incredible views to the banks of the Douro River. Good living areas to enjoy with family or friends. We're always helpful and communicating about any questions about nearby restaurants. Quinta de Conquito with bread and fresh cakes first thing in the morning, as the pastry goes to the farm to deliver.

Absolutely wonderful place in a charming village. Truly a hidden gem. Great support from Annabela throughout. We spent a magical month in Boassas in Oct/Nov and would recommend it highly.

So beautiful here! Wonderful market for groceries in Cinfaes about 12-14 minutes away! Great hikes in the area that are well marked. An abundance of history dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries (Covalos Bridge over Rio Bestance built by decendents of the Roman era to join mountain communities). A must to see and explore!

We're a family of five, the place is new, clean modern. Everything you want in an Airbnb getaway in the Portuguese mountains. Amazing experience, we cooked outside using the fire pit and used the pool.

We had a fantastic stay at Casa da Bouca. The house was clean and comfortable. Vitor met us on arrival and showed us around. He kindly gave us some local fruit, vegetables, eggs and biscuits. We were unlucky with the weather for much of the stay but the house was easy to relax in and the views of the river were very special. Towards the end of our stay we had a few sunny days - the garden and pool were great. Vitor communicated regularly with us and gave us lots of suggestions for activities. We enjoyed driving along the Duoro and exploring the region. A very enjoyable holiday!
