Waterfront holiday rentals in Manasota Key

We enjoyed our stay with Gertrude Rentals for our babymoon. Our unit was on the bayside, but it was a nice walk to the beach. The instructions for everything were easy to follow and thorough. The weather wasn’t great during our stay so we didn’t use the pools, but they would have been convenient to use. The kitchen had all we needed to cook some meals on one day. We also enjoyed the convenience of the private beach with chairs and lounge chairs provided. All of the amenities made our stay so easy and fun.

this is my second year in a row coming down to siesta key and I have always stayed here. walking distance from everything but yet this place is quiet and peaceful. it is a diamond in the ruff.

We can’t say enough good things about Dune Our Thing! We had the best stay and really fell in love with Siesta Key. The condo was beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean and decorated. The view of the ocean was great and it was so nice to open the patio door and hear the ocean. We loved how easy it was to get from SRQ to this condo—very easy drive and great location. We actually really liked staying near turtle beach…it was more private and quiet than other areas and the beach access was simple and close—just a walk over the dune. Shell hunting was really great on this beach. We rented a car, but we also used the free trolley and the frog hop service when we didn’t feel like parking. I can’t say enough good things about our host—they were so helpful and had our place stocked with holiday goodies and a welcome gift for our 4-year old son. We will be back, and likely to stay in this same place again. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!!

Excellent location on Siesta Key directly across from the public beach and walkable to the village for meals or provisions. The 2nd floor unit is big with 2 comfortable bedrooms and a sitting area looking right at the beach. The master bed is super comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need like home so we stocked up on groceries for the stay. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and boogie boards in the storage unit and even a cooler. You have easy access to both the north and south pass of the key and we spent time in both areas. We would definitely stay in this unit again!

Mike and Karen were amazing hosts and extremely hospitable:) my only wish was that my dad and I could have stayed longer. 100 percent plan on returning next year for some more fishing. 6 stars

Thank you so much for a great place to stay during our recent Sarasota vacation. This was convenient to the grocery, beaches and restaurants. The host answered questions immediately. The shower was very nice. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, the stack unit washer and dryer, the closet with beach essentials, all made this property so convenient and enjoyable. Although it was a bit hot and humid, we loved having a cup of coffee overlooking the water behind the property. Next time, we hope to enjoy the pool, too, but we spent too much time on the beach, which wasn't a bad thing! Thanks for the hospitality!!!

Had a fantastic stay! 5 minute walk to the beach- perfect location and cute little place!

we had a wonderful time at Robert's place. Everything was as described. the island is a perfect getaway for anyone that wants to go on an adventure and get away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook, it was perfect! Everything was well thought of in this home. On a side note, golf carts need to be booked months in advance and are pretty pricey and we hoped to walk around the island but we're told upon checkin that was not allowed. we could only go to the beach and back to the property. You could walk along the beach though.

Beautiful, modern home, exactly as pictured online. Lovely furniture and decor. Plenty of space for our group of 7. The neighborhood is growing - a lot of construction in the area - but it wasn't disruptive during our stay. Close to shopping and beaches. Lots of extras available for use like pool floats, a corn hole set, puzzles, games and books as well as kitchen extras like spices, cooking oil, plenty of paper towels, etc. Zach was a responsive host especially after our stay was technically over. I left my jacket there, was able to talk to Zach and he facilitated my ability to get back inside and retrieve it. Would highly recommend.

Convenient location , clean and well stocked , would stay again

Our family stayed here for a wedding. The highlight was definitely the pool and outdoor space. We also enjoyed the Casita and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the house was great for a large group. The host were very communicative and on top of our needs.

Our stay was very comfortable and safe for children (grand). Upon arrival the home was very very clean the floor shined, glass doors were so clean you had to make sure it was open before walking through. The pool was maintained once a week and very comfortable. Plenty of seating outside for nice evenings. The boat lift was very useful and only minutes to the harbor. Definitely looking forward to renting again.

Matt’s place is excellent. Spacious, clean, and well stocked. Matt was super responsive and helpful. Easy drive to anywhere. 1.25 mile walk to Fisherman’s Pier. We’d stay here again, for sure.

The location - right on the beach - is superb. Great covered porch looking right out on the beach. The unit has some of the things to help spend a day on the beach - chairs, umbrella, etc. the kitchen is small but entirely sufficient and well stocked with kitchen/dining things. Comfortable bed. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Really enjoyed my stay at the unit and in Englewood.

This condo was exactly as described, and it is amazing! It sits right on the harbor, you can sit out on the screened porch and watch the boats come and go while listening to the live music next-door at the restaurant. We spent some time in the pool, which was extremely well maintained, and everybody in the complex is so friendly. We loved being able to just walk next-door and grab a bite to eat, don’t miss out on the Trading Posts’s specials for lunch! We hope to rent this place again soon.

Incredible spot with great value with the beach access. Siesta key public can get crowded so it’s nice to have this as an accommodation. Loves our stay Maureen was a great host with clear expectations!

I’ve never written a review before but felt Nick and his condo deserved one! Nick’s place was completely remodeled and felt brand new. It was spotless when we arrived and immediately felt at ease when we walked through the door. The parking spot was right next to the condo along with easy entry. The beach is just a few feet away which made carrying the beach chairs, towels, sand toys, sea shell sifter and drinks easy to carry. The place came equipped with everything you would need to have the perfect beach vacation. Shark teeth are abundant! Once we were done on the beach we headed across the street to the heated pool every afternoon. There are two donut tubes for the kids to play with that were at the condo. The pool was great, it reaches 4ft 9 in. deep and has stairs on both sides to walk in. Plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. It was a great location! Almost right across the street from Magnolia’s. Nick was great with communication and his place was perfect. Highly recommend!

Location could not be better. Sooo relaxing and beautiful! Very clean and well stocked and updated place. We enjoy the heated pool a lot as well since the weather was cold. Condo was Close to everything. Beach and the view was beautiful! We can’t wait to come back. Loved our dinner at the summer house as well and the siesta village and our kayak tour on the bay.

Great stay! Thank you. We couldn't find the snorkel gear, but wasn't a big deal at all. There's plenty to do around Lemon Bay. Great music, fun bar scene, and once you get past the fence surrounding the beach, fun times searching for shark teeth.

This place is great!! Safe and comfortable with a fantastic location for fishing. It is right on the water and a minute walk from the dock to be picked up by your boat. Just amazing! For the price, you will not find a better spot in this area.

We loved the condo! My favorite part was the screened in porch with very comfortable seating, view of the ocean, and a table for card games with grandkids. I would like to definitely rent again when we visit that beautiful area in the future.
