"Hunter's Ridge" is one of 12 cabins my husband and I purchased in 1997. It is a small 3-room log cabin with a private, queen bedroom. The living area has a futon sofa bed and a small loft with a mattress. There are complimentary kayaks & canoes to navigate the islands and free bicycles for the wooded hiking trail. There is a kitchenette with the essentials. There is a brass hand-pump toilet and wooden tub with only a shower head to rinse off. There is a 2-person hot tub overlooking the river.

I had a wonderful stay at Kathleen’s Airbnb! The property at 14186 Rd I in Ottawa is peaceful, clean, and exactly as described. The house was well-maintained, very comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing visit. Kathleen was an excellent host, communicative attentive without being intrusive. The location is quiet and offered a nice escape while still being conveniently close to town. We decided on this place after we were going to stay with family in defiance, Ohio. Our plans fell through so we started looking around on Airbnb although we've never used it before because hotels are getting more expensive and staying in a home would be better for our kids and more private. It was really affordable and I like that it was in the country since I am currently living in Florida. I'm very familiar with this area since I lived in Napoleon for most of my life. One of our sons are autistic so it was comforting that him having outbursts wasn't a problem and there was a toy there that he kept him busy the whole time. The bed upstairs is extremely comfortable, it's nice having a pull out sofa, this can easily house 4 people. the bathroom had all the supplies you need plus some, as well as the kitchen. The water gets really hot so I would be careful with that, and with any very small children be careful with the stairs since it feels a little steep and there is no risers.
