The Switchback House was built in the early 1900's and has recently been fully remodeled. Families find this to be the perfect home to share memories. Our home is in a quiet area of West Broadway, yet still within walking distance to the Historic District. The house even sits on an access point to the famous Switchback Trail - perfect for hiking and biking! Jim Thorpe also offers whitewater rafting or winter activities at Blue Mountain. This historic Victorian home was built in 1870 and offers early American charm and furnishings, has wide plank floors, modern kitchen and modern bathroom. This house is located on the main drag of Jim Thorpe and has parking for one car. The home has a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. There is cast iron gas wood stove, basic cable TV, WIFI, new kitchen, and bathroom. There is a shaded private courtyard, upper deck and a Mountainside Gazebo.

Walking distance to everything in town. This is an entire house rental. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, cookware and a COFFEE BAR. We have the Alexa device for streaming music, authentic Victorian furniture and china or just every day plates.
