Holiday houses in Maffra

I had booked eagles rest for my children and parents, we expected the house was beautiful from the pictures but it was even better then all the photos. The decor, artwork inside and out was spectacular. We loved the veggie and fruit that were grow around the house and the beautiful maintained garden. The garden outside each room made it so peaceful. We especially loved the pizza oven outside, using the fresh tomatoes picked from their garden. The fire pit was a hit too with the family,sitting around on the outdoor sofa and lounge bed. We were also welcomed with a beautiful basket of goodies on the bench which was such a warm welcome. Communication was great, answering our questions promptly and being so accommodating. Everything was stocked up for us in the house from kitchen, pantry laundry cupboard which helped us from having to go down to the shops and getting all the Nic nacs. I highly recommend Anton’s place, it was everything and so much more We will definitely be back for sure ?

We had a great long weekend at Golden Beach. We enjoyed being so close to the beach & hearing the waves at night. It’s a great house for families and bigger groups, with lots of bedrooms and different living spaces. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into setting it up to be convenient and well-equipped. Carmen was a very proactive and responsive host. I definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The place was immaculate and spotless, and it can comfortably accommodate two families. Do note that towels and bed linen are not provided, so be sure to bring your own. The location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the shore. We especially enjoyed our night-time strolls on the beach under the stars — truly magical. The upstairs master bedroom with ensuite and balcony was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the quiet surroundings. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals at home, which was important since there aren’t many restaurants nearby. There is a FoodWorks mini-supermarket close by, but we did our main shopping in Sale on the way to Paradise Beach. Greg was a fantastic host — prompt, helpful, and responsive to all our questions. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d definitely love to come back again!

Such a beautiful part of Victoria! Even though the weather was cold, windy and wet we were very snug and comfortable at Ben'd place. A short walk to the beach, lovely coastal bushland and lots of bird life. Ben's kitchen is amazing with top level appliances. I would have liked to try the amazing outdoor bath and spa but it was too cold to venture out without being rugged up. But it would be amazing in warmer weather. A fantastic place to stay.

Very nice and clean house. We enjoyed a lot. Kids specially enjoyed Kangaroos at front yard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is great. House was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back again.

Gorgeous cottage. Clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is available. The cottage is across the road from the stunning Golden Beach, however, the beach can only be heard from the cottage, not seen. There is only one general store in town and nothing else. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, I can recommend Melissa’s cottage.
