“We have stayed at Giovanni's place for 8 nights in January and we found it the most unique and beet equipped flat. There is everything for a self catered holiday - nicely sized stove for cooking, microwave, nespresso machine, and the most useful of all, a washing machine with dryer! Giovanni added the most appreciated touch of providing washing up liquid, essential chemicals to clean and keep the place tidy. The fire place is handy and super quick to heat up the entire flat. Tip- use the vent in the bathroom whilst having a shower, it will save a lot of moist on the mirror and on the floor. The location is very picturesque, and also extremely close to a shortcut that takes you by the lifts - shortcut that could be a bit tricky to walk if has just snowed but otherwise optimal! We will definitely stay again should we go back to Valtournanche! Thank you Giovanni!”
Villa located in the magical basin of Cheneil, 20 minutes drive from the village of Valtournenche. Passage point of the high way n 1 and departure for many trekking. The house is entirely available to guests, it is reachable on foot (10 minutes from the arrival of the lift) and is equipped with all the comforts necessary to live a magical holiday in contact with nature.
“This is by far the best Airbnb we have experienced, having been to many all over the world. This is because of how surprising the experience was - picture being completely surrounded by mountains, lost in nature - inside a beautifully renovated 100+ year old house. It was a 5 star experience. NOTE: we did travel here with a stroller and three children, all under 3 incl an infant HOWEVER, it is challenging - rugged, uphill terrain (but fun!). Remember to shop for groceries prior to arrival (you are at lest 45 mins door to door from the closest grocery in the town that you have to drive to). If you want to dine at the hotel, it is a 10 minute walk and you must make reservations at least the morning of or day before. Bring flashlights. And there is very limited wifi access (which is why you want to be here). Keep these things in mind and it is paradise, if you happen to be child-free and a nature lover, you will never find a better place. Highly, highly recommend this place.”
“Fantastic house and area and exceptional welcome! We slept like angels and we had a great time! Excellent for holidays in peace and quiet! We will be back for sure!”
