A heads-up: as clearly mentioned in the description, this house is about stairs: you need to be comfortable with them. And now the crescendo: the location is a 5-star one, it does not get any more down-town than this, everything is within a short walk. The apartment is a 5-star plus. Comfortable, perfectly climatized, well lit, spic-and-span clean and possibly the best furnished we ever rented (it has everything one can think of and then some). The hosts are a 6-star couple not just because they are proactive, attentive and responsive but because, as the thoughtfulness they put in furnishing the house shows, they actually care. The bottle of wine and the home-made cake one is greeted with are just the icing on the ‘cake’. The final 10 stars: the impeccable business ethics. We had a small mishap due to directions they gave us, and they took care of it without even us having to mention it. You will be in very good hands with them.

This house truly exceeded all of our expectations and hopes. Calogero is a very friendly and welcoming host. My family of 12 people got there in a need for freedom and private atmosphere and that's exactly what we got. The house is a several hundred year old stone house, it is quiet, calm and incredibly cozy. The farm has an absolutely incredible pergola, lots of fruit trees and art installations THROUGHOUT. One can walk around that house (and farm) for days and find new art installations every time. Really the whole family enjoyed it incredibly well, where the only minus is that the teenagers lacked a city pulse and the little ones lacked a pool. But if you have a car and a little patience, you can easily get up and down the mountain for excursions. We really loved everything about this house, Calogero, his wife, dogs, cats, horses and are now dreaming of their own Sicilian farm in a mountain village.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at this Airbnb in the Madonie Natural Park. The location is absolutely perfect, very quiet, peaceful, and ideal for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about the area that made our trip even better. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and beautiful getawy.

My two girlfriends and I had a wonderful two nights in the countryside, with so much thought and care put into our stay from our hosts. Arriving after a long drive we where welcomed with cake, tea, eggs, treats, everything essential to a comfortable first night and morning. Our booking included an entertaining and fun evening cooking local dishes with Nino and Dina and we enjoyed a lovely night together round the table with amazing food and drinks and sharing stories. What a pleasure this was and a great start to our holiday and to Sicily! We know some of the prior reviews mention the neighbours dogs barking, this was the case on one of the nights and sorted out with some earplugs, so we would advise this. It did not spoil our stay at all and we left full of joy at having met such wonderful people and having had such a great time. Thank you to our hosts for looking after us so well and we would recommend you book this wonderful experience if you are in Sicily!
