Overall, the stay was quite pleasant and matched the description provided by the host. This place served as a convenient stopover for our trip from SFO airport to Yosemite. (Just a tip for future travelers: be sure to download offline maps in advance, as there may be no signal along the way.) A couple of areas could be improved: the master bathroom was closed, which was a bit inconvenient, and it would be great to have a dishwasher, cauz hand washing dishes didn’t feel very hygienic.

Terri reached out and made sure we made it safely. The home was very relaxing and peaceful with the hot tub, hammock and surrounded by trees. The pickleball court, tether ball, air hockey and table soccer were nice additives for entertainment. We booked this place to relax after our planned trip to Yosemite, the hot tub helped a ton with recovering our sore muscles from the intense hike. There is a binder with instructions for check out and any extra info we might need, I loved the fact that there is restaurant recommendations and even an itinerary for Yosemite in that binder for anybody that stays there and doesn’t know what’s around. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others! I appreciate the extra detail in recommendations and messages making sure we are safe and comfortable during our stay!

Beth was an amazing host and the place had everything you will need to feel like home. We had a couple of deers that visited us and that made my day . At night you can sit on the porch and stargazing. Beautiful property . We will definitely come back

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The home itself was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Yosemite—but what truly made our trip unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond by welcoming our kids onto their ranch and teaching them all about the horses and goats. Our children absolutely loved getting to help feed and brush the animals—it was such a special experience they’ll never forget. We’re so grateful for the kindness and care the hosts showed throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway with thoughtful hosts and a little magic thrown in, this is the place. We hope to return one day!

Very nice and cozy place to stay if traveling to Yosemite (30 minutes from the South Entrance) and only 6 miles away from Bass Lake. The bathroom was impeccably clean and so is the kitchen. We used the hot tub to relax privately in the evening. We didn’t need to cook since restaurants are nearby, but the kitchen is fully equipped including oil & salt. The beds & pillows are soft & comfy. Our family had a wonderful time and highly recommend the Raccoon Hideout. Btw, I broke the record for Galaga. 😊

Our stay at this charming cottage was absolutely wonderful. It was cozy, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. My partner and I truly enjoyed every moment. Shell’s place was cozy and comfortable. We were visiting Yosemite National Park and this was a very convinient location (1hr) from both the west and south entrances. The loft was clean and just as described. We loved the dogs being around too! Shell was an amazing host and also greeted us personally when we checked-in. Highly recommend this listing to anyone wanting deciding to stay outside of the park.

A great cabin if you are looking for a little get away from near by cities or traveling internationally to head to Yosemite. Booked this lovely cabin for a birthday weekend with the girls. Very spacious. Used the full kitchen to be able to bake a cake and have a wholesome dinner made. TWO BATHROOMS!! Just a little heads up, neighbors are very close by and not as secluded (closed off) as we thought but that’s okay! We ended up making friends with a neighbor close by anyway & overall great experience.

I stayed at Jodi and Robert’s Airbnb with six of my closest friends! We had a fantastic time. The house is quaint and small, but has lots of spaces to sleep. The only downfall was the single bathroom, but if you’re not worrying about four men and two women needing to use it then you’ll be just fine! The kitchen was well-stocked, the property was very well taken care of, and the drive and views near were absolutely beautiful. The location was very convenient as we drove to Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and it is a prime area to be staying in! Overall, fantastic experience. Very much recommend! Jodi and Robert were also very responsive and sweet.

Fun barn loft on a nice working apple orchard/farm. There are goats, dogs, ducks and a sweet potbellied pig as a bonus at this stay. There loft was a nice quiet mountain stay. Be prepared as stated in the description to walk up and down stairs with your stuff. This would not be ideal for anyone with physical limitations. We stayed here to visit Yosemite but be aware it is still quite a drive (over 1 hour) to either park entrance. It is not super close to any town either so come prepared with what you need.

We stayed here for a trip to Yosemite. although it was a drive - 40 minutes to the park but than an hour in, the place was amazing. we had fresh eggs everyday, Sheila dropped off fresh veggies, the kitchen had everything we needed, grilled a few times, and the rooster woke us up exactly when we wanted to wake up to get to the park early. We appreciated that they went the extra mile with the bottle of wine, having shampoo and conditioner and spices for cooking!

We have stayed here before and love the home and location!!!! It’s truly a beautiful home in a perfect location!! It’s large, peaceful and perfect for families of all ages. It rained one day and was too cold to use the pool this time but it was still a great time visiting with family and enjoying the Rodeo. The kitchen has everything you will need and the coffee bar is well stocked. The game room is designed with everyone in mind. The master bathroom is a dream! If you have multiple families this house is great because it has 2 master bedrooms that are very large, 2 additional good sized bedrooms, and plenty of parking. The only thing we all felt the same about, and it’s not a complaint but more a recommendation, would be to update the patio furniture because the low seating didn’t work so well with such a high table. We made it work though. Perla responds quickly and is always so pleasant!

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet, peaceful. Beautiful view from the patio overlooking the Lake. Would definitely return in the future. The family would all go there own ways during the day hiking and sight seeing then return and gather on the patio deck over looking the lake, very nice!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s home. It is very rustic and quirky which added to its charm. It got quite hot outside (early June) but the AC kept inside the house nice and cool. It was also very nice to cool off in the pool. We had so much fun in the pool! We brought our pontoon boat to enjoy beautiful Bass Lake and there was enough room to park it and our 4 other vehicles. I can’t say enough about this very cool property!

We loved staying at Courtneys place. It was very clean and well maintained. The ambience was simply great too.

I have stayed at this property before and loved it. It's a fantastic location, close to Fig Garden Village and the highways. The grounds are gorgeous and relaxing, and the neighborhood is a great and safe place to go for walks. I was scheduled to stay in the cottage next to the pool, but there was a booking mix up. Cara promptly fixed it and had me move into the apartment above the garage, which was lovely, spacious, and very comfortable. I highly recommend either of the units on this property.

This is a lovely, very quiet, very clean home. It is rightly called a “retreat”! There are many thoughtful touches throughout the home, and the property is beautiful. Wonderful outdoor space and very private backyard. It is so quiet, even outside, while still being within an easy drive of major roads. This was a wonderful home away from home while visiting Yosemite.

We really loved this property. It has everything you could need for a home from home experience. Mitch met us at check in (also letting us check in early) and made us feel right at home. He explained how things worked and gave us a quick tour of the property. With the two bedrooms and bathrooms this is an ideal place for up to four people and is set in really quiet and pleasant surroundings. We would thoroughly recommend this property.

Nancy’s cabin was picture perfect gorgeous- very tastefully done and well maintained ! It was clean, cozy and comfortable with essential amenities and well stocked kitchen. The sit out area too was superb with nice views as well. Our stay on the whole was simply fantastic and memorable ! Thank you Nancy for making us feel at home!
