The accommodation offered by Elisa, a house of character, is ideally located about ten minutes walk from the old town and about twenty minutes walk from the port. Everything is easily accessible (tourist curiosities, catering points). The bedroom on the first floor was very nice (comfortable beds, window to the courtyards). Communication with Elisa was fluid. She gave us recommendations and responded promptly to any questions we had. Thank you so much Elisa!!

Great location, centrally located in Funchal. Everything within walking distance. Clean space, cleaning every day. Shared kitchen and small outdoor space are great for socializing. The communication was very kind and friendly. I had booked a room for myself, which was optimal.

Very good, clean and cosy - ideal for lovers of the classic, nostalgic style. Everything was old - bathroom, doors, windows and even the lift in a real retro look. Not modern or chic, but full of charm for those who appreciate the old. The people here were very friendly, you feel at home. We had a nice, relaxing time and slept very well.

109 Funchal Hostel was wonderful. Friendly, personable and professional staff! They were accommodating to let us in early and also very responsive to communications. We loved the location that allow us to walk most places. I’d highly recommend.
