Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Madawaska Valley

Die ruhige Lage mit der Nähe zum Algonquin Park hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Zudem war die Unterkunft mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich als Reisende wünschen.

The lake house was a lovely stay. First of all, the lakefront is beautiful and I enjoyed dangling my feet in the water and watching the sunset from the fire pit. The space inside was immaculate, comfortable, well-designed, and spacious. I let Andrea know the WiFi router had an issue, and within minutes she was on the phone with the company resolving the issue for me. I definitely recommend this home and would gladly stay here again.

Our two night stay was amazing! Its proximity to Algonquin Park was definitely a plus! It was very private and very clean. I would stay here again in the future 😊

The place was clean, cozy, and it was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The check-in and check-out and garbage disposal process was very clear and detailed, as the host provided an easy to follow instruction. We'll definitely come back!

This is a magical place. We spent as much time as we could on the screened in patio because of the view, wildlife and relaxation without bugs. The living space was beautiful and functional, so well stocked of essentials and more. It felt like we were visiting friends who were happy that we were there. Great communication, very welcoming. We found the location to be a nice balance of wilderness and close enough to towns for needs. It was a great spot for us as we toured through all the towns outside of Ottawa. This area of the world is beautiful. And there are no better hosts than Julie and Tony.

really lovely location on the lake. well equipped place. the vies of the lake is incredible. we took the canoe out in the evening and the morning and was just amazing! definitely recommend it to get away from the hustle and bustle

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. Après 3 jours sur Toronto,le logement de Tunde est un havre de paix. logement très bien entretenu et qu'elle vue 🤩. Bon endroit pour se rendre 1 journée au Parc Algonquin (80km entrée Est du parc). visite des chutes d Egen (petite balade pas loin de Bancroft). commerce à Bancroft pour les courses. Tout était parfait et Tunde réponds rapidement à nos questions. je recommande ce logement.

Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Amazing place to stay in Bancroft. Close to the Main Street and surroundings. We arrived late and she made sure to keep the outside lights for us! Very caring host and great little place to stay. Comfortable beds and super clean bathroom.

Tom and his wife were wonderful hosts!! Friendly, accommodating, and always available. The home is beautiful, and what a treat having it to ourselves. Breakfast was delish! Great coffee. Stores i.e. grocery, LCBO, restaurants were convenient - but not walking distance. If there was any room for improvement...the pillows could be a little better, and as a senior with a mobility issue - non-slip mat to use in the tub would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than happy to return to this lovely accommodation! (Btw...a visit to NEAT Cafe is highly recommended!).

Jo and Malcolm's home was just the kind of quiet, peaceful getaway we were looking for. Great location, close to good hiking spots and trails. Their place was immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you would need. They were wonderful hosts and always responsive. We would love to come back here.

We had the most incredible stay at this delightful cottage! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with and went above and beyond by leaving us fresh eggs and homemade sourdough—such a thoughtful touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool you could possibly need, making cooking a breeze. The cottage is located on a peaceful island, just a quick 5-minute boat ride away. Upon arrival, we had help unloading the boat, which made settling in so easy. The highlight for us was Sunset Point Rock, where we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets. Swimming was such a joy. The whole experience felt like a dream getaway—cozy, clean, and truly a home away from home. For fellow nature lovers, we highly recommend downloading the Merlin App to identify the many beautiful birds on the island. The fishing was great. We found the Texas Rig worked best. We absolutely loved every moment and can’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely return!

This was my second time visiting Andrew’s place in the fall. It is absolutely gorgeous this time of year. The cottage itself is clean & cozy. All necessary amenities are included. Will be back again!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful cottage to celebrate our anniversary. We live about an hour and a half drive from this place and it was very easy to find. Although our stay was short, it was so special. The beach is shared with other cottages but it was not being used by others during our stay which was nice. There’s a few fire pits for use too on the beach with wood provided by the host which was so lovely. We didn’t swim bc it was too cold but there were also a ton of water toys to use such as kayaks and paddle boards. The cottage itself is completely private and so so so charming. The place was so clean and had a ton of amenities you really don’t have to bring anything other than your own food. My husband and I agreed we must return in the future!!!

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

It is a really nice, quiet and beautiful place. Every cabin can enjoy privacy of their own area. The common areas are extremely clean and tidy. We love the camp fire, canoeing and kayaking, also a pleasant walk on the beach! This campsite has a lot to offer !

The cottage was the perfect place for a relaxing long weekend with the pups. The property is private and allowed for us to wander and gather around the porch. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked, and cozy!
