We are a Portuguese family that knows all the islands of the Azores, and completed in August 2018 this retreat, to get away from our busy lives in London. Until the day comes that we can enjoy it full time, we have decided to share the amazing space we have created with others that love the nature, mountain and sea that is always surrounding us. The house is within Prainha, the most beautiful parish of Pico Island, and within close proximity to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and bakery.

Paula Machado 40A Apartment

Modern apartment built in 2022, quiet and well-located. Located a 5-minute walk from the center of Vila da Madalena and the restaurants and bars. The village's bathing areas are nearby, as well as public transportation. In the vicinity of the apartment there are grocery stores and also the County Health Center There are 4 tennis courts in the area (2 in the campsite where there is also a Bar and the others in the Jardim dos Maroiços area right in the center of the Village).

Our 1-Bedroom Flat is a stylish and comfortable accommodation for a couple or small group (3-4 people max) - it is located at one of the most beautiful seafront areas in Pico overlooking Faial island. Some of the best restaurants on the island are nearby, and the town centre is only 10mins away - all walking distance. Grandfather Francisco's House

Once a traditional wine cellar, built by Francisco Paulo in 1980, this villa served for many years as a production site and warehouse for the Paulo family's wine. The wine cellar has been remodeled and expanded, but it maintains the traditional elevations and the decoration and details of the times when it was used as a wine cellar. Next to the bathing area, it has a view that invites long nights of conversation.
