Chalet holiday rentals in Mad River

Our stay at Hideaway was relaxing and exactly how we expected it. The cabin is within a short driving distance from the ski areas and grocery stores, and very comfortable for a family with two children. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to communication. Overall, a wonderful vacation.

A perfect location for a group of skiers/snowboarders since Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts are within a few minutes drive. The best restaurant in the area, Hyde Away, is just a block away. A unique place like you stepped back in time. All the beds were comfortable. Great having three bathrooms. Loved the foosball table! Again, great location for the area. We'll be back next ski season.

Cozy cottage with well appointed kitchen. Property manager Diane is very responsive. They are lucky to have her! Place was incredibly clean. Diane even called to offer us to come a day early to avoid the storm. When the storm foiled some of our plans she also offered to stay an extra night. Unfortunately the plow service did not come the AM after the storm and our 4 WD car couldn’t make it up the steep driveway. The wonderful neighbors even came to help but we all had to give up. The plow eventually came. I’m sure they were overworked the last 36 hours. Storm also kept chair lifts at Smuggs closed one day so we ended up making good use of the game room and kids - teens :) - actually loved playing in the snow in the yard. Would highly recommend - definitely make sure you have 4 WD and even consider chains if a storm is coming. Or just be prepared to hike the driveway (which isn’t a bad walk).

We’ve been staying at Mark‘s place for years. It’s our favorite winter vacation spot. This winter was the best we’ve ever had for skiing. There was tons of snow. We all just love it here and hope to continue the tradition in years to come 🌲☃️❄️

Effortless from start to finish! Great location

Great place, we stayed for a week in late December and had a great time. Excellent location, everything as described.

This property was the most peaceful stay I have ever had. So quiet and relaxing. It was the perfect getaway while we were in town for a wedding. The stay had everything we needed to make dinners for the family and a wonderful porch overlooking Lake Beebe. Thanks for sharing your space with my family and me. Side note: Dylan was very successful fishing in this lake and the boats made it easy to explore the lake.

Me and my family of 4 loved the place it was a winter wonderland. tucked up I. the woods Roberts place was relaxing and restoring. many beautiful spots to visit around the area also. Thank you ver much for letting us enjoy your peacefulway place

Wendi’s place was absolutely incredible. Extremely clean, beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and cozy. Perfect location. Everything we could have wanted ans more. We had an issue with a beeping fire alarm one day, and when I notified Wendi about it, someone came and fixed it immediately. That was so special. Thank you Wendi!

We had a great weekend here. It was comfortable with the 8 of us in this house. It was cozy with the fireplace, we utilized the grill and the ping pong table. The location was great for our skiing weekend! Very close to Killington and Pico.

Great spot to stay and excellent view of the valley. The main floor is a great space for gathering!

Instructions were clear and the house was ready for our group on time. It was a great location for what we were looking for and everything we needed within 10-15 minutes. Perfect for our group.

Adam’s place was perfect for our family ski weekend. Firstly, Adam was incredibly responsive before and during our stay- providing us with details about the space as well as helping to facilitate when we needed to make changes to our plans. The house was charming and cozy and perfectly located a short walk from the snowflake trail for access to the mountain. The fireplace was so cozy after long days of cold runs!

Beautiful place with beautiful view! Close enough to Warren in bike and it was fun to discover the area! House was clean and had everything. The insinkerator switch was closed so we had issues with the sink but other than that, everything was amazing! Jacuzzi water wasn’t clean and had a weird smell, although it didn’t really bother us but it would be great to verify its maintenance!

Beautiful location and very easy access to Killington Ski Resort! We had >1 foot of snow and the steep driveway was plowed well before departure. Very clear communication and instructions made for a very relaxing time. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great location for skiing with plenty of parking and a super responsive host. The kitchen was well equipped, which made meals easy after long days on the slopes. One thing to note is that the unit is attached to a motel—something that wasn’t obvious from the listing—but it didn’t bother us at all. We still really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!
