My husband and I had a great time at the Airbnb. The balcony was amazing., the location was perfect to everything we wanted to do. We were there on the Saturday, and checked out the farmers market, Art in the park, walked the river walk, enjoyed food/drinks, and entertainment within a few easily walkable blocks. Would definitely book again!

Great loft and strategic location to stay if you want to be close to Downtown. You do have to climb up staircases to the 3rd floor which may be challenging for some, but worth the historic vibe and immersion into Detroit. The place was spotless, descriptively accurate, and the view out to the river was something worth remembering. I do want to note that people love to party with loud music in the park adjacent to the building to late hours, but the police will usually clear everyone away by midnight. I would recommend this place to a younger hipster crowd.

This Airbnb was the perfect spot for our weekend trip. It’s a cute beach house and within walking distance to many shops and the park. The river and beach is visible right from the front porch. Very cute and cozy. We enjoyed our vacation at this spot very much. The host was super nice and helpful with our questions. We will definitely look to rent this spot again next time we come out that way for a vacation!

Super amazing stay! The outside was absolutely stunning, and fun at the same time. You can see the house from across the canal, it’s so neat! Daniel and Janet are so wholesome and amazing! Met them and never really saw them again, but excellent hosts!

If your fishing in the Anchor Bay Area this place is perfect. The accommodation was extremely clean and well stocked with necessities and beautifully decorated. It’s near several good restaurants located on the water. Docking space for your boat is great and you can charge your batteries. Can’t say enough great things about this place. Just about everything you need is within 5 miles away.

A great place to stay for me and my friends!! Not too far from downtown, very accessible location. Very spacious apartment, one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in Detroit thus far!

Our primary goal for the weekend was fishing, but our stay at Dockside Cottage made the trip even more special—it's truly a gem in Harrison Township! Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. Wesley and Shana were incredibly responsive and organized, making both the booking and check-out processes seamless. They also graciously accommodated our last-minute request to bring our dog. The guidebook was fantastic, and the park passes for the nearby metropark were a wonderful perk—definitely a must-visit if you haven't been. The cottage itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked with all the amenities we needed, providing a super cozy space. The back patio overlooking the canal was a highlight—a perfect spot to relax while our son enjoyed fishing. The neighbors were amazing too, always friendly and waving hello. Dockside Cottage is spectacular, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

BEAUTIFUL & PRISTINE! The host has thought of everything from keyless entry, top notch amenities , beautifully decorated and an open floor plan. Let’s not forget the tranquility of staying on the lake. We fished and watched so much wildlife right in our backyard. If all AirBnb’s kept up their properties like this it would be a true gem to have no worries about booking! Thank you for a fantastic getaway! We will be back for sure!

John and Crystal were very friendly and accommodating hosts, regularly asking if there was anything we needed. The location worked out well for us as he made sure we had boats slips available and we were very close to the public launch. There was plenty of room for six of us, with a large kitchen and lots of counter space, which was helpful. The gas stove worked great, which was important since we brought meals to cook. Also appreciated was having a washer and dryer available. Beds were ok, but clean and we were able to sleep fine. Overall, this was a very good experience and we were very appreciative of our hosts.

This is a beautiful location convenient to Detroit and the surrounding areas. We loved our stay.

The house was perfect for us. It has all the amenities that one would need for a short stay. The boathouse is definitely a plus for any fisherman. Brian went out his way to help with a boat issue that came up. Thanks Brian! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Sophia’s place was perfect for our friend weekend getaway. We had a concert at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater and it was an 8 minute Uber Ride. Neighbors were friendly and the house was perfect. The downstairs was fun for hanging out!

I was a bit curious with the host meeting us to transfer keys however it is because of the security with the building. Host was extremely friendly and welcoming checking us in and giving recommendations. The condo was fantastic. Extremely convenient access to the people mover and very comfortable. One of my favorite Detroit stays so far!

Amazing views and cool downtown location! Excellent communication from the hosts and located conveniently just a few blocks down from downtown restaurants and coffee shops. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect spot for our group of 2 couples. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom, a pretty view of the pond and it was close to everything we wanted to do for our stay!

The location was perfect and very quiet. The condo is in very good shape The yard is large and waterfront. The host and family made us feel very welcome. Good restaurants and bars close. We will be returning.
