Holiday rentals with lake access in Macomb County

Our primary goal for the weekend was fishing, but our stay at Dockside Cottage made the trip even more special—it's truly a gem in Harrison Township! Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. Wesley and Shana were incredibly responsive and organized, making both the booking and check-out processes seamless. They also graciously accommodated our last-minute request to bring our dog. The guidebook was fantastic, and the park passes for the nearby metropark were a wonderful perk—definitely a must-visit if you haven't been. The cottage itself was spotless, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked with all the amenities we needed, providing a super cozy space. The back patio overlooking the canal was a highlight—a perfect spot to relax while our son enjoyed fishing. The neighbors were amazing too, always friendly and waving hello. Dockside Cottage is spectacular, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

BEAUTIFUL & PRISTINE! The host has thought of everything from keyless entry, top notch amenities , beautifully decorated and an open floor plan. Let’s not forget the tranquility of staying on the lake. We fished and watched so much wildlife right in our backyard. If all AirBnb’s kept up their properties like this it would be a true gem to have no worries about booking! Thank you for a fantastic getaway! We will be back for sure!

John and Crystal were very friendly and accommodating hosts, regularly asking if there was anything we needed. The location worked out well for us as he made sure we had boats slips available and we were very close to the public launch. There was plenty of room for six of us, with a large kitchen and lots of counter space, which was helpful. The gas stove worked great, which was important since we brought meals to cook. Also appreciated was having a washer and dryer available. Beds were ok, but clean and we were able to sleep fine. Overall, this was a very good experience and we were very appreciative of our hosts.

The house was perfect for us. It has all the amenities that one would need for a short stay. The boathouse is definitely a plus for any fisherman. Brian went out his way to help with a boat issue that came up. Thanks Brian! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

House was clean when we arrived. It’s in a great location if you’re a fisherman. There’s a tackle shop right down the road and you’re in between two boat ramps. Slept 5 of us comfortably. Had enough outdoor plugs to charge both boats up every night why we were there. I will be booking again when we come back next year.

We loved our stay and have already decided that, if we return to Detroit, we will stay here again. It was perfect for the two of us. The bed was so comfy, shower was amazing and the living/kitchen area was so cozy during our nights in.

This is the favorite AirBnB we've stayed at, extremely comfortable, thoughtfully and carefully organized, and very clean. That's why we've returned for a second time this year!

I would give 6 stars if I could. Maxine was absolutely amazing and a delight. The apartment was really cool and relaxing. It is my new home in Detroit when I go to visit. We have stayed at Daniel’s apartment several times now. It is always comfortable, immaculate and convenient. This time the gardens and pots of annuals were incredible. Also enjoyed the thoughtful touch of bottled water in the fridge and coffee to go cups. We try to stay at Daniel’s every time we come to Detroit.

I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

The beach access was incredible for quiet mornings. Well stocked with things to do, it was a joy to watch the other renters take the boats out to fish and relax. The neighbors were all friendly, the neighborhood a short and sweet walk. It was an incredible stay, we ended up extending because we weren't ready to leave! Loved the fully equipped kitchen and though we didn't utilize it, free laundry facilities are always a plus for lake vacations (no more smelly bathing suits on the way home!) The thermostat was straightforward and the wifi connection was strong. No complaints here!

Super amazing stay! The outside was absolutely stunning, and fun at the same time. You can see the house from across the canal, it’s so neat! Daniel and Janet are so wholesome and amazing! Met them and never really saw them again, but excellent hosts!

Cottage was very cozy and decorated with many special touches. Anything you can think of was provided. Nicole’s place was very clean and we were very comfortable with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time away from home. Nicole’s communication exceeded our expectations. We will definitely consider coming back to stay!!!

Used this lake house for a fishing trip. Great location in Anchor Bay with easy access to the lake. Covered boat dock made it great for the boat. Host is very friendly and communicates effectively.

Lori was incredibly accommodating for every part of our stay. Lori's place was like getting VIP service. She had tons of local recommendations, everything was labeled and she had everything you may possibly need for your stay. Lori even delivered us some local donuts during one day of our stay! The sleep number bed was nice, but if you're use to a thicker mattress (like I am) keep in mind that the mattress is a little on the thinner side. Still comfortable though. We will definitely be booking here again on our next trip through.

Amy and Beau’s place was incredible. We were able to take the kayaks out and paddle out to the bridge. We also enjoyed the comfortable accommodations—especially the beds. A fire pit at night completed the weekend. We will definitely be back!!

The home and location were absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as listed and was so beautiful and homey. I just wish the weather had been a bit warmer to fully enjoy the outdoor seating and activities. I highly recommend and hope to visit again. Thanks so much!

What a lovely cottage...very cozy and homey. Cute, comfortable, and unpretentious. The neighborhood is so peaceful and friendly, with easy access to pristine sandy beaches. We would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous Lake Huron at your doorstep. Heavenly sunrises, beach fires, outdoor dining. Beautiful covered back deck. Cottage very comfortable- fully stocked kitchen. We barbecued almost every night watching the boats go by. Absolutely loved lake living!
