awesome plac to stay in timaru. very comfy beds and heaps of space all around. ideal for a group 4 adults. strong recommendation.

We had an excellent stay, the house is very comfortable & quiet. Amazing views, log burner, stainless steel hot tub was excellent, the house is a lovely modern design and was extreamly comfortable. Kids loved the bunk beds, and outside space. Us adults loved the log burner , comfortable beds, and the views ! Rowan is an excellent host, very friendly and responsive. Very much recommended, we’d 100% rent again next time we are in the area.

We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

This place was AMAZING. It was so clean. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook all of our meals at home. It is very spacious and what a plus to have three toilets. It was only 50 minutes from Hooker Valley Track with a gorgeous scenic drive. We had a gorgeous sunset and sunrise. The horses behind the yard were a pulse - gorgeous to watch and one of the days they actually trotted over to us. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to a friend and would gladly stay again!

Beautiful stay. Exactly as described and a very short walk to the main area. Hot tub under the stars was a particular highlight! Would highly recommend 😊

We had a great time staying at this place. It was a very beautiful home . The view was great , place was very clean. Penelope was very responsive. Although there was no heating but the log burner really kept the place warm. She was flexible with the check in & we were able to check in early. Highly recommend if you are looking for country style living.

The outdoor bathtub with a view of the mountains is just incredible. The rest of the place was so comfortable and completely spotless. So many little details were thought about, like a big citronella candle for outside, bath salts, loose leaf tea and biscuits. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stayed at The Huts, hut 6 specifically which had an AMAZING view of the lake and mountains. So beautiful it felt like it was a living picture frame. Having the tub to soak in underneath the milky way after a long day of hiking was just magic. Even with Tekapo springs within walking distance (which was great), it tends to get busy so it was perfect to also have the option of a quiet and relaxing soak all to ourselves. Great amenities and superb location. Just the right size for 2. Easy and friendly check in/out. Hope to be back soon!

If you’re visiting Twizel, don’t miss this cottage! 友友们真的不要错过这个小木屋！！就是我们梦想中小木屋的样子！！！房东把房屋维护的超好，非常干净！！超舒服！住了不想走的地步！！！房子里的设施都很齐全，想自己做饭或者用咖啡机、洗衣服干啥的都有相应的设施和说明，感觉可以住一辈子(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

The place was very romantic! Definitely rustic, which is what we love, but still very comfortable and clean. Felt very private for me and my new wife on our honeymoon. The owner's house is about 20m across from the hot tubs, which we were concerned about, but there's no windows on that side of the house, and he left us alone, once he got the tubs got. Still felt private and romantic. It is heated by a heater and a fireplace, which we kept running easily. It did get a little cool overnight, when we weren't topping it up. Nothing to worry about, especially with the heater, and heated blanket. Toni and Judy were very friendly as well!

The Rise was an experience all on its own! We felt immediately welcome and it was clear they spent time on making it memorable and personal.
