Joanne has been a great host from booking all the way to check out. She has communicated with us all throughout the stay. She was kind enough to give us a flexible check in and check out time. The place was as described on the listing and instructions were quite clear as to what’s what. My family and friends had a wonderful time.

Second stay for our family and we were not disappointed. Lovely place for some R&R and easy access to town to explore. Thanks again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the cottage. The place was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained – exactly what we needed for a peaceful retreat. The surroundings were serene, with lovely views and nature all around. Everything was thoughtfully provided, from comfy bedding to a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and communication was smooth throughout.

Wonderful place to stay! very clean and exactly as depicted in description and photos! Tip: if you come in the spring, bring bug repellent!

Beautiful cottage and also nice outdoor decoration and nice walk to river with gorgeous lights! We celebrate birthday with family so plenty space for 10 people, 2 kids and 2 infants! Also just mention there’s noise detector which host didn’t mention on description, inside you can be pretty loud only outside have to respect live neighborhood but it wasn’t issue for us to celebrate birthday! Was flexible check-out from Bethany which helps us! Airbnb host is very responsive which is nice, there were a couple messages I had to follow-up on.

Leigh’s lazy lake house was absolutely perfect for a retreat into nature. We loved jumping into the refreshing lake after our hot sessions in the sauna and hot tub! Leigh’s kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen with all absolute amenities. We loved cooking slow meals, while listening to the vinyl records and enjoying the beautiful view! We highly recommend Leigh’s Airbnb for a relaxing getaway in nature with all the amazing benefits of spa like experience!

We loved our stay at the Hidden Haven cabin 💗 Kate was so quick to respond to any questions and had provided an extensive and detailed welcome package which was great! The hot tub was key and the overall feel was magical! We definitely recommend and will absolutely be back.

We had a great little fall getaway weekend and the cottage was perfect. It was just the 2 of us plus our 2 little dogs, which made for a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing escape. The sun rise and sunset over the lake is picturesque! The cottage had all the amenities we needed to cook our meals and just relax. Kim was wonderful to correspond with and was able to offer us an early check in and checkout to make the most of our weekend. Would definitely recommend a visit to this wonderful cottage on Pickerel Lake!

Host allowed us to check in early way ahead of usual check in time which was great. Had an extra full day to enjoy the cabin right by the lake with private beach access and lots of gear provided by the host (Kajak, Kanu, Boat etc.). Cozy little campsite with fire pit and chairs. Great view of the lake and fall colours. Very quiet despite neighbours to the right and left. Vast selection of DVDs for movie night. Short car trip to supermarkets in Huntsville. Had a great time and would definitely recommend it. Easily accommodates 4 adults.

Everything about our stay at Rocky Shore Drive was spectacular. This place is roomy with all the comforts of home. Quality furniture is found throughout the place . The home is grand , bright with all its windows , comfy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lots of extra linens and blankets are also available. Kitchen is fully stocked with drip coffee, a bodum, electric kettle , a microwave , dishwasher and a toaster oven. You will also find two large fridges with ice makers and water dispenser and two Jen-air stoves . Main living room has a super comfy sectional , big screen tv and a fireplace . **look for Woody in the main living room :) Upstairs ; a computer work station , a couple recliners and two bedrooms along with a washroom . Both washrooms were stocked with fresh towels and basic shower supplies; Shampoo n body soap . The basement ; a pool table , rummoli game , a drinking game , lots of books and puzzles to be found as well. Five stars all around ?

This was our second time staying at the Canoe Love the house set up, the special touches - fresh farm eggs and bread! Beds are so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need! Relaxed in the hot tub, enjoyed a paddle boat ride, game of pool and foosball competitions! Excellent place to relax and amazing hosts. We will have to come back and try the new wood burning sauna Until next time!

The Airbnb was a lovely place to visit. The cottage was clean, it had a beautiful dock with great water activities and an amazing view. As a host Kandice was very attentive, respectful and flexible. As mentioned in the listing, a four wheel drive vehicle is definitely needed in order to access this cottage, as the hill to the cottage is very steep. I will also mention that the neighbor was quite unwelcoming to us as a group of mid twenty year olds but this does not take away the fact that Kandice was able to step in and make sure we felt comfortable in her space. Overall my friends and I had a great time catching up at her cottage and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful spot with all the amenities. Feels private and secluded yet only a 10 minute drive from downtown Huntsville. James was super accommodating and responsive to our needs, would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance!

Benjamin was a fantastic host. We stayed for a long weekend with family and had a lovely time. The cottage has stunning views of Clear Lake and we had a great time using the sauna and cooling off in the lake after. The deck is great for dining outside and the dock is lovely for swimming and relaxing in the sun. The house was spotless and had great amenities. An excellent gas BBQ/smoker, a fire pit, a new sauna and dock. We loved our time here and can't recommend the hosts enough!

Todd was an amazing host, very responsive and even got on a call to help us when i had a clarification and stayed on until it was The Cottage is amazing and filled with amenities that we would probably need a whole day to properly enjoy. The spot, the cottage is located and the rear view from the cottage, rooms, or even from the decks are stunning. Such a peaceful environment for proper retreat. It was a proper disconnect since some carriers didn't even have mobile reception sometimes in the cottage. Everything was setup and easy to find, especially the paddle boats, life jackets, and even the battery for the electrically operated boat was visibly placed. The fireplaces were setup so it was pretty easy to enjoy than spending time on setting up anything. The basement is more suitable for pet friendly guests compared to the rest of the cottage. Really loved the cozy vibe and stay. Would definitely look forward to be there again.

My husband and I along with our fur baby loved Vana cottage retreat. It was the exact getaway we all needed. Kanisha was quick to respond and very friendly. The cottage was spacious and private and we were grateful to see a mama and baby deer on the property. My husband caught bass and pike off the dock. The cottage was super clean and we felt like we were right at home. The views were beautiful too!!

What a glorious setting! Peaceful location with nature all around. We didn’t see or hear any neighbours - utter tranquility compared to our usual hectic schedule/ semi-urban surroundings. The house was easy to find with clear instructions; there were thoughtful additions such as a full log basket, plenty of loo roll, laundry detergent, basic cooking supplies like oil/ seasonings and extra towels were available if required. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into making it homely. Host was responsive and helpful with recommendations and instructions - even maps of the best canoeing spots! We had a very peaceful stay and teenage kids loved it - even though it was autumn, we still enjoyed the lake, swam, hiked, went canoeing, and toasted marshmallows in the fire pit. If you’re looking for a city rush with lots of buzz, look elsewhere; for peace, beauty and the outdoors immediately available, this is a great spot!

Ben’s place was everything my group wanted and more. The water toys for the lake included was a hit with our group. Comfy beds and also spacious living room for everyone to hang out. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a perfect stay at Michelle’s cozy cottage! We enjoyed nightly family dinners and morning coffees overlooking the beautiful views of lake Nipissing. Her place was well stocked and then some! (nice BBQ, air fryer, and espresso machine, cards and games, towels etc.) Michelle was a great host and despite a family emergency was still quick to respond and was available for any questions we had throughout our stay. We would definitely return again!

We had a girls weekend at Chris’s place and it was amazing! The place was clean with an incredible view. We made great use of the canoe & kayaks & the large dock. The hot tub was super clean too, which out of experience you don’t always get. Chris was very responsive and helped with any questions we had. There was a general store about 10 min away & a bały mart 25. Overall really great stay & all 8 of us would 10/10 come back!

Such a peaceful location. We spent the evening on the dock watching the sky and listening to the Barred Owl, Loons, Spring Peepers, and American toad sing. It was magical. The place was immaculate and the ammenties were awesome! Took the kayaks out for a peaceful paddle and saw some beavers! Comfortable beds make for a serene sleep. If you are looking for a magical location for a family retreat, you have found the right one!

Fantastic place to stay. Don’t worry about the cold nights in the winter as the wood stove will make the cottage toasty warm with lots of hard wood in the shed. Large parking area for trucks and trailers. Place is newly renovated inside and out. Quite location in the winter. Will be going back for sure !
