Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Machakos County

Such a beautiful place! The pictures don’t do it justice: the house and terrace were much more spacious than we expected, and overall it all felt very luxurious and modern. All this in just a one-hour drive from Nairobi, amazing!

We had a great time . There was already assistance whenever we needed . I want to book Eddy and Kiptoo are very friendly people. The environment was very clean and well thought of everything we needed was there. Will definitely recommend.

This Airbnb exceeded all my expectations! The space was immaculate, beautifully designed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay .Julian was incredibly thoughtful leaving snacks , tooth paste and toothbrush, which was a lovely touch. The location was ideal, close to local attractions but still quiet and peaceful. The building has an elevator which makes it easy to access upper floors. there's security at the main gate and a secure parking too. Communication with Julian was seamless, and he was quick to answer any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Let me take the opportunity to say thank you for the hospitality. We really appreciated the flexibility to our needs, support with getting to the location. The couple on the ground was very kind and accessible when we needed them. The space is extremely beautiful, secure and comfortable. I just wanted to say that you've done well on your part. we had an incredible stay at Firefly! From the scenic and sprawling coffee plantation to the avocado trees and the lake, it was a treat for the eyes. Our host was communicative throughout the process. Brian and team were also truly helpful and had much knowledge on the coffee harvests. The team were also available for a turn-down service and no request was too big to accommodate. We are grateful to Snehal and team who also left in our care coffee packages and our own take home coffee which we were able to roast :) All in all, an awesome weekend getaway.

AMAZING! We honestly don't understand that this house does not only have 5-star ratings! It is such a beautiful farm with a very high ceiling, and one small pool next to the house and a bigger one at the end of the garden. The photos do not do the place justice, it's even nicer in real life. And it feels so much like you're in nature even though it's only a short drive from Nairobi. When driving towards the house one can see zebras and giraffes. Would definitely recommend!! It's a bit expensive but we went with a group so that we could divide the money. All in all: 11 out of 10 for this house.

The place is so great because of the organization of the place and most of all because of Pascal who is the most friendly person I've ever met.

Extremely clean and cozy place, surrounded by nice places to eat out and shopping malls. The place is a haven, with extra spaces for chilling or working. She has put thought on the decor and the garden is well taken care of, making it a memorable place. Jacque is extremely kind and very communicative. I will definitely come back!

Excellent off-grid location in wonderful surroundings meant to elicit the Muskoka, Canada feel. We had a great stay. A bit of a glitch with check in communications that was sorted out efficiently by Peter who was on-site. Of note are no wifi and no TV, which were not an issue for us. Best to have good food supply on arrival. Best to arrive early so as to settle and enjoy the surroundings. We stayed 1 night, which was too short. A few days would have been splendid.
