The aparment is exactly as described and as all the other reviews have said. Lovely space, great location. It does get quite noisey over the weekend though, with the sounds and music from all the restaurants and bars down at the lake drifting up. One night the very loud music went on until just after midnight. A small unpleasantness - but still, to be aware of.

I honestly don’t think I could recommend this place more if I could. From the amazing communication with Emi, the extremely clean and well looked after property to the VIEWS… it was just perfect! I cannot express how incredible the views are from this property, we kept saying it just doesn’t look real, this is certainly the place to go! Emi was also so helpful and lovely, she was able to get all our reservations even though I left it so last minute, she was also at hand when we needed help or guidance, she just made the whole experience so smooth it really made our experience that much better. I thank you so much for a trip of a lifetime!

Wonderful stay and the view is amazing. The hosts are proactive and went extra mile to ensure not only my stay at their place but also the visit to Varenna is comfortable. They even went out of way to inform me that the trains are not working on the day of my vacating and in case I plan to leave Varenna, they suggested alternate modes and booking details. Very responsive, and kind to respond to me even at 11 pm in the night. The place is clean and cute with all you may need for a great stay. The bed is comfortable. The cute note they shared while vacating, and a beautiful handwritten“thank you “ note sealed the deal for me ❤️

The flat was lovely and cool, spacious, and had everything we needed. We arrived to all the essentials (milk, eggs, water…), and loved being able to leave for evening swims just outside the bedroom door. There is a ferry port five minutes down the road on foot, and you can explore the whole of como! Great restaurants pretty much next door which was great!

Very pleased with our stay. A wonderful location. Luca was so helpful in meeting us to escort us to the property as it is located in a no drive /traffic section. We could not ask for anything more. Luca was always helpful, answering our questions and helped us to manage parking. The property has the most beautiful views. We would highly recommend. Our experience was wonderful and can’t wait to return!

Perfect place in a private location! We felt like we were locals instantly. We could walk to the restaurants and regularly went on strolls. Additionally we could walk to the local shop. Would recommend Benedetta’s for a truly authentic Lake Como experience.

Andrea’s apartment is extraordinary. The terrace and the bedrooms overlook the lake and the entire apartment is spotless and well equipped. We are so grateful for our time in Varenna and beautiful lake Como. To top it off our host helped us secure a reservation at Al Prato a very hard to get into restaurant located just across the square from our apartment. Best dining and service we had - highly recommend Andrea’s apartment. It is magical.

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! Monica’s place was outstanding The pictures did not do justice to the views Wow! Monica was very good communicating with us right from the start Check in was very straightforward and she even left us a bottle of Prosecco and water Monica is very thoughtful and her place was spotless and well furnished She responded very promptly to all our questions and offered great recommendations for transport , shops and restaurants Overall our stay was beyond our expectations and we are definitely coming back next year Hopefully by which time the C10 bus may be regular 😂 and on time !

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

Paola met us for check in and was extremely helpful from the moment we booked the trip even after checkout when our plane ride to Milan cancelled last minute she helped us find new transportation. The space is beautiful and close to everything!

They say that Bellagio is the jewel of lake como , i believe its Where you stay and also the host , I have been in different places with different and marvelous location but nothing comparable with a place that you feel comfortable in during your stay,and what even makes your stay beyond expectations is the host and i believe Deborah did really made things lovely and easy specially for someone that is not familiar with local customs or the location Simply one of the most beautiful experiences i’v ever had and strongly recommend the place as the photos does not do justice to the place trust me

Luisella and Fermo were PERFECT hosts! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guilia House. The house is so charming - it felt like such a privilege to stay there and experience the history and beauty of the home and village of Fiumelatte. We especially loved the garden area that Luisella is cultivating - the views in the evening are spectacular! The walk to Varenna is an easy one with amazing views of the lake, mountains, and villages along the shore. This rental is not for everyone, however. Folks with mobility issues or toddlers should be aware that the rooms are all on different floors and connected by a cement staircase in the center of the home. If this is not a concern, then you will be treated to an authentic 'old world' Italian experience. We adored Luisella and Fermo - what a kind and generous couple! We are SO grateful for their hospitality. They welcomed us as if we were family and we will cherish them as if they are ours.

One of the most stunning locations you can imagine on Lugano. Right on the lake, 3 storeyed and superbly kept. Don't think. Just go for it if you are considering Lugano. Fantabulous views.

We were 5 ladies who had a wonderful time there! We celebrated 2 birthdays there and it was just perfect! Everything is within walking distance. However, we drove to the supermarket and were able to buy everything our hearts desired there. We can highly recommend this accommodation and will come back!

What a great place with an exceptional location right beside the lake! Andrea was very communicative/responsive and gave great advice upfront. He is super relaxed and flexible. Especially the location/view of the appartment was beyond expectation. Due to the high temperatures during all days (above 30) the appartment could get a little warm, but Andrea put some ventilation in the bed- and living room. Would most surely recommand!

Beautiful and clean apartment in a great location. The parking spot and elevator made it the perfect spot for us!

I agree with the very good comments already made. The magnificent view combined with the cozy side of the apartment. Lots of beautiful things in the area. Car necessary in my opinion, otherwise a little less than 1 kilometre of coast. I loved it
