Beachfront holiday rental in Mabini

The description of the place is a bit limited, but the host very responsive and helped to set expectations: you are part of the family community, with a separate villa and outdoor kitchen. The family/hosts are super friendly; they have 5 little dogs, which are cute, and thankfully not an issue with my dog that we brought long. The beach is literally down the flight of stairs; although not much sand, the water is clean, blue and inviting. The co-host /owner named "Jess" is also an experienced dive instructor, and very chill/easy to set up a time and go. He's very patient and good instructor. Food: Tho not mentioned, the owner's wife provided dinner for a very decent price, and good amount of tasty food. Description says bring ur own stuff to cook, which is like camping; outdoor kitchen has basic utensils and functional. Best option is OMG restaurant the host recommended, a 9 min walk, with tasty food and nice outdoor atmosphere. It's a local experience and environment.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to resort super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend @ Papa G's beach have.

We had an exceptional stay at this accommodation! The room was impeccably clean, comfortable. The people were friendly (Maam Sarah, Sir Johnny, Maam Lorna, etc), and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The location was perfect, for relaxation. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service, cleanliness, and comfort provided. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We planned our trip last minute and I was just looking for a quick getaway during the Holy week weekend (sat and sun) that wouldn't require me braving through holiday traffic both going and otway back. This dive camp/resort tucked away in a hidden part of Mabini, Batangas was perfect for us, a combination of bang for buck, clean rooms, cool airconditioning at night, and situated right next to a diving spot. Though me and my friend didn't book a scuba diving that day, we were able to enjoy the waters without much difficulty and the lack of people (usual crowds) was a pleasant alternative. It was a quiet weekend, all in all similar to the reviews posted for the place. We wish we had booked the rooms with ensuite bathroom but a different group beat us to it. The two resident dogs were more than friendly and welcoming and Jaja kindly accommodated our last minute requests even if temporarily. I highly enjoyed my stay, and will likely bring another friend over another time. Thank you Jaja!

The host is exceptionally accommodating and takes excellent care of guests. They are highly responsive to inquiries and provide assistance until you are comfortably settled. The scuba diving experience was delightful, and to top it off, we received a complimentary kayak for the New Year. The location is tranquil, situated right by the beach (you can observe numerous Dory fish even in shallow waters). The accommodation includes a sink, kitchen utensils, and even a grilling option. We look forward to returning for another visit.

Lovely place beside the beach, lots of little nooks to chill, and the rooms are really nice and cozy. Mr. Kang will also come in and check on you every so often, and make sure you're doing good. Place is definitely best if you go for scuba, the place has a bunch of intro dive and boat options

We had a great stay at Pico De Loro, an exciting and a new experience for us, even the place was too far, mountanious, zigzag road the excitement cannot be compare with other resorts. Our host are also great didnt expect they are too young!!! The place is so clean and with complete utensils. Thank you so much. Hope to be back again and I hope that we can avail discount not senior discount though hehehe.

Sean’s place did not disappoint. We’ve been searching for an easily accessible and decent pet-friendly resort with clean and stable basic living amenities within our budget, and his place in Mabini comes highly recommended. It’s primarily a diving center as most resorts in Anilao are, with mostly Korean and international guests, hence, their restaurant serves mostly Korean cuisine and limited local dishes. We are not into diving, but we are glad that he accommodated us warmly and allowed early check-in free of charge. Their staff are friendly and their restaurant serves delicious food, which may seem a bit pricey, but you’ll realize the service and generous servings are worth the cost. They also have a massage therapist on call in case you need the service. Paid parking is available at 200 pesos overnight. Our furbaby had a great time, too, meeting the resident pets and enjoying the beach with really clear water and safe slope. I appreciate how they keep the place neat and clean.

Nice and peaceful place, may tv and karaoke (youtube) may card games and pool. Near din sa beach. super accommodating pa ng host and helper. May restaurant din nearby if ayaw nyo magluto. 5/5 super happy with the stay

Regina was very communicative all throughout the process. The house is very well kept and the views are awesome. The only negative that are the amount stairs and steps of the whole property. Not exactly physically disabled friendly. The views are very picturesque. It was great that the house is pet friendly. Regina’s caretaker, Inday, is such a great resource and a gem. Hopefully we can go back soon.

The place is as described. The house is pretty new and well maintained so I think we had the privilege to enjoy its beauty. The view is magnificent. The water is pristine and crystal clear. The pool is great but too deep however it is as expected as it was described as deep. I’d only recommend to have someone manage the listing and communication. Had to wait for more than 15 minutes outside and there were no response on both the contact number and as well in the app. We had to find the house ourselves before we could check. If I hadn’t get out of the car and find it myself we would have waited long. Overall the place is perfect. You just had to take a plight of stairs to get there but as expected it was communicated before booking.

We’ve had a wonderful stay. The place is pristine and relaxing. The beach is just right next to the place. We can relax in the balcony watching the sea waves or just chill watching movies inside. The bathroom is well equipped with Japanese style bidet and very clean. The kitchen is also nice with complete cooking utensils. Our caretaker is very accommodating and host is very responsive. Thank you very much for accommodating us.

It was a very pleasant experience. Staying at the accomodation is comforting, relaxing and healing! The view and the vibe is very homey. The sunset view is perfection! Everything was worth it. In addition, the sea! The accomodation is right in front of the shore with a beautiful crystal clear ocean. Our snorkeling experience was superb! There’s a lot of fishes even in the shallow area only and there’s a lot in the deeper parts. This was one of my best AirBNB experiences. I don't stay in AirBNB's with the owners present (although sometimes they may rent it in their absence). However, since our only other option for the area seemed to be expensive resorts, we gave it a shot. Staying with Rosanna (aka Isla's B&B) was such a pleasure. It was everything I wanted to experience from Filipino hospitality. Her house is literally on the beach in Mabini. Her partner is an American who came to stay and just never left because Rosanna's hospitality is that good. He built a second floor covered balcony, where we spent most of our time working and watching the sunset. There is beautiful snorkeling right in front of the home. Rosanna is an incredible cook and will cook you meals if you choose. Btw, the whole community is basically her family, so if you need anything, she is like the unofficial mayor and just pulls out her phone and makes it happen. I recommend renting a scooter on your way so you have a way to get around.

We booked this place at short notice. We were a large party and Jefril was very accommodating from the moment we made contact. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and responsive to our requests. The bar was a great addition and the menu offered good food at very reasonable prices if cooking was not on your agenda. Boats were on hand to take you across water, plus a jet ski, diving and kayaking (needed maintenance) all available - again at reasonable prices - if you wanted to be more adventurous. The house overall was good although the photos were a little dated, but as long as you weren’t planning on spending most of your time in the house, it shouldn’t really bother you.
