Waterfront holiday rentals in Lucerne

Stephanie's apartment is a great base for visiting Lucerne. Very nice on the river and with great views of the mountains. The place can accommodate 3 adults and is very clean. We felt right at home. We would recommend the apartment immediately.

The house was just like in the photos with beautiful scenery of Lake Luzern and the surrounding mountains. Though the climb up the many flights of stairs is tiring (especially with luggage), we enjoyed our stay there. Markus was a great and friendly host. It was rainy during our time in Luzern and Markus sat with us looking at the weather and giving us suggestions on where to go. We enjoyed conversations with Markus while sharing beer/wine too. Thank you for welcoming us to your home!

we had an incredible stay at villa pescheria hosted by Nadja, from the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed. The villa was recently renovated with elegance ,fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay,The location was in a peacefull area with an unforgettable views on the lake , and a great restaurant next door. I can't thank Nadja enough for the friendly communication. if you are looking for a top -notch airbnb experience at lake lucerne, i highly recommend booking a stay here,and i will definitely be returning on my next visit to switzerland.

Great location. Clean place. A little more explanation about using the key before hand , will help. It's difficult trying to figure all that out with luggage etc. overall great stay. And the bar below is lively and open till late 👍🏽

Really great location, very close to the river, shops and restaurants. Small but tidy accommodation. Perhaps a little small, the third bed is not suitable for very tall people. Host present and friendly. It was a pleasant stay. Lucerne is definitely a beautiful city

Hidden gem. Perfect location. Great price. Take the elevator to the room. The key does not work to let you into floors that your room is not on, so you cannot take the stairs to the room.

The location was amazing! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to, lots of restaurants, shopping and sightseeing nearby. Very close to the train station which is a bonus when you are backpacking with three kids. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean.

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lakes, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

The place is clean and very well stacked with essentials. Many rooms and bathrooms that make the stay easy and comfortable. The owner was always reachable and very friendly, very clear and easy instructions. The only small difficulty we had, was that to get in and out of there (without a car) we needed to walk 25 minutes to the nearest bus stop. It's a flat and actually nice route, but still, not the most convenient. Other than that, the house and the surroundings were great!

We had a wonderful stay with Isabelle and Heinz in their beautiful house in the Emmental. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view. Bern (!) and Burgdorf (Franz-Gertsch-Museum) were very worthwhile. Climbing the Napf is also recommended. Thank you Isabelle and Heinz for your hospitality and the good care! We hope to return soon.

Well-equipped house with a large terrace. Good location near various hiking opportunities. Ideal for a weekend getaway with colleagues.

Marie is a very helpful host and responsive. the place is as exactly as described in the listing page. It’s clean, easy to find and comes with a magnificent view. We have really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Erika and Martin's beautiful home, and I can't recommend them enough! Everything was as promised, and even better. The house is beautifully decorated and offers a perfect view in a very peacefull town in the middle of the swiss alpes. Everything in the home is new and of high quality that made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Erika and Martin were exceptionally helpful with everything we needed. Such an amazing stay!! We were here for a week and it was idyllic and peaceful. Emmetten is a friendly town in a beautiful setting. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Maya was an excellent host. She is very responsive and even brought us some eggs from her hens. The Volg grocery store is about a 4 minute walk, but there is also Ruadis Marcht which is even closer. We loved this little store. If you are into buying local, stop by. They bake different types of sourdough bread daily and you can get fresh eggs, pastas, dairy and meats from local producers. There were excellent hiking trails all around. We had an amazing stay and would recommend Maya’s place to anyone.

Beautiful location - quiet and peaceful. Super responsive host and everything was clean and lovely. It was perhaps a little far out of Zurich for our needs so we didn’t get to enjoy the serenity as much as we would have liked. Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing peace and quiet away from the city.
