The nearby villages of Plaka and Almyrida offer friendly restaurants, secluded beaches, and coastal diving. Wander the hillside trails and discover roadside cafes and hidden churches, or range down the coastline to find the perfect relaxation spots by quiet coves. Guests are within a short drive of the renowned city of Chania, which features exceptional Venetian architecture and a magical port ambience, with the hallowed classical ruins of Ancient Aptera also nearby.

Guest access
While the grounds of the estate are in excess of 3 acres, there are another 20 acres of green zones to enjoy around the property and there are no other villas right on the waterfront like Blue Paradise.
Other things to note
For scuba divers there is an excellent diving center whose instructors can take you to the spectacular Elephant’s cave, one of the top dives to do on Crete.
For mountain bikers and runners there are several trails to enjoy in the area between adorable villages.
