This unique home offers a saltwater heated pool. Six themed bedrooms, each boasting it's own character based on iconic locations & figures in society, with a seamless flow between the indoor & outdoor entertainment area and a large garden. The villa is inclusive of two staff members from Monday to Saturday, Sunday on request.
The space
Capture views of Camps Bay, Lions Head, Table Mountain, and The Twelve Apostles at this hillside home in Cape Town. Watch sailboats navigate the bay while you sip your morning coffee at the alfresco set on the sunny terrace. In the afternoon, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or sit back and watch a movie in the home cinema. Then, head out to the Camps Bay Promenade and pick a restaurant for dinner.
Six themed-bedrooms, multiple relaxation areas, and the cinema spread across 3-levels, all of which open to embrace the beautiful backyard. Surrounding the swimming pool, you’ll find lush lawns, vibrant greenery, and sleek sun loungers. Moving inside, the pristine white theme continues, allowing pieces of art, contemporary decor, and ocean-inspired turquoise elements to catch the eye. On nights in, let the fully-equipped kitchen inspire your inner chef, or, move the party outside and grill up some fresh seafood on the barbecue.
Lions Head, of which you’ll have a view, is one of Cape Town’s most iconic natural wonders, and it’s just a few minutes away. If you’re up for a 90-minute hike, the view from its peak is the best in the city. After you’ve made your descent, head to V&A Waterfront for lunch and maybe a little souvenir shopping. Later, watch the sunset at one of the beachfront bars a few minutes away on Camps Bay Beach.

As for chef services kindly note we work with a reputed chef company called who can offer you two options for breakfast, lunch or dinner:

THE CINEMA is situated on the lowest (3rd Level) of the home, offering the perfect environment to watch movies at any time of day without disturbing the other guests.
THE KITCHEN is fully equipped, including an integrated gas hob and oven, as well as a microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. The secluded scullery area offers a dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer for personal use.
SECURITY
The property offers a fully secure environment with outdoor beams, electric fencing and passive internal motion sensors.

WHAT WE HAVE IN PLACE FOR LOAD SHEDDING / POWER CUTS IN SA
At La Maison Hermes the villa is equipped with a Tesla Powerwall back-up system which powers lights, TVs, WiFi, garage door, sun blinds and the wall sockets. Also note the cooker and BBQ is gas operated, hence you would still be able to enjoy your stay comfortably, regardless of power cuts imposed by Eskom.
CLEANING PROTOCOL:
-Staff will be on hand to greet guests at arrival show them the house and how things work.
- Guests are to do their own washing up. There is a dishwasher if needed.
- Guests will be provided with the contact numbers of staff so they are able to coordinate cleaning timings, etc.
- Fresh bed linen will be provided every third/fourth day depending on the length of the stay.
Guest access
Guests will have their own private entrance and access to the full house.
Other things to note
REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
We will also require a refundable breakage deposit of R15 000 to be paid via Airbnb prior to check-in/upon check-in. This will be refunded within 48 hours of check-out, unless damages/missing items are detected, then the relevant charges will be applicable.
LOADSHEDDING/ELECTRICAL CUTS BACK-UP POWER:
Load-shedding is a phenomenon we experience here in South Africa. This is when the national electricity (power) supply grid is under strain and the electricity provider Eskom cannot provide sufficient electricity to everyone. They then impose power outages at scheduled time slots (usually 2 hours at a time) in the different areas (zones) to alleviate some of the strain.

CANCELLATIONS:
• Any cancellation requests must be directed to the rental agent in writing by email.
• In case of cancellation a credit will apply for the value of the booking to be used within 12 months from the time of the booking. Rates will vary subject to availability and seasonality.
• No refund or discounts will apply for any unused services or terminating the rental lease earlier than confirmed booking.
• Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
• REBOOKING/ DATES CHANGE REQUEST: If a cancellation request is accompanied by a request to change the dates, a credit will be issued, valid for 12 months. After this period, no refunds or rebooking will be available. Rates may vary depending on availability and season.
POOL HEATER
Needs to be switched on 3 days prior to arrival to achieve the 28 Degrees.
This temperature can't be guaranteed in winter on very cold nights.

SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and on balconies and considered as a breach of contract. If traces of smoking is found, a fee of R5000.00 will be charged or deducted from the refundable breakage deposit to cover the cost of professional ozone cleaning. Smoking can take place in the garden and outside areas of the property where ashtrays are provided, please ask the house staff for an ashtray.
