Villa San Savino is part of the Tenuta di Murlo luxury private country estate that consists in various thousands of hectares Of immaculate countryside.
All the villas at Tenuta di Murlo have been crafted and lovingly restored from old farmhouses and each villa is provided with private pool and garden with views of the immaculate Umbrian landscape. All the villas have fully equipped kitchens and all the comforts of a luxury home and are rented on a self-catering basis. However, the estate combines the privacy of a private rental villa with the full selection of services of a 5-star hotel including a bug selection of high quality catering services. Tucked into the rolling hills outside Perugia on the Murlo Castle estate, the four-bedroom home has spectacular views of the valley below Mount Tezio, a prime location near a golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and charming rustic ambience.
The villa has extensive outdoor spaces, perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing or golf. A large deck with a seating area has commanding views of the landscape, as do the Pool, Hot tub and pool terrace. A charcoal grill and al-fresco dining area let you enjoy the sunset over dinner. Indoors, relax with a glass of wine and watch a DVD from the library or browse via Wi-Fi access. Baby equipment like a crib and high chair welcomes even the youngest visitors.
The common areas of Villa Allegra are bright and cheerful. One living room has a built-in bookcase, and a red plaid sofa and chaise longue pulled up to a fireplace; the other has original stone walls, beamed ceilings and 2 comfortable sofas. The cozy dining room shares the warm color scheme and has farmhouse-style ladder-back chairs, while the modern kitchen’s brick backsplash and curtains are full of country charm.
Each of Villa Allegra’s four bedrooms comes with air conditioning and window screens for comfortable sleeping even at the height of summer. The rooms are inviting and restful, boasting wrought-iron and colourful linen on the beds. There are four bedrooms with king beds and en-suite showers or en-suite bathtub.
If you’d prefer to spend your stay at the villa, chef and butler service can be arranged at extra cost. If you’ve come for the golf, the course is a 3-minute drive away. Further afield, it’s a 10-minute drive to the train station and grocery store, and a 10-minute drive to the estate restaurant with complimentary shuttle of the Murlo Estate, a tennis court, a clinic and the hospital. A 20-minute drive brings you to Perugia, the Perugia airport, or Lake Trasimeno.
