Waterfront holiday rentals in Lugano District

We loved our stay here! Two comfortable king beds (2 twins together for each) and a great balcony that was fairly private with comfortable furniture. It had a small kitchen with 2 stovetop burners, a hot water pitcher, and a small fridge. It had air conditioning and was very clean and modern. The infinity pool and lake access was fantastic!

This luxurious apartment on the shores of Lake Lugano, exceeded all expectations. Elegant furnishings and spacious balcony provided stunning lake view, creating a serene and picturesque environment. The apartment was impeccably clean and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable stay. Its proximity to local attractions and the tranquil lakeside setting made it the perfect retreat. Apartment was great. A little noise in the morning during the week, but not far from the centre and with a lake view. The parking space in the underground car park is a bit tight, but okay. Everything is easily accessible on foot, as the bus stop is directly below the block. Communication with Musa was very good, check-in is "tubelisicher" with the instructions :) Great, thanks 😊👍🏻

We really enjoyed the direct location on the lake, just like the proximity to restaurants and gelateria! The apartment is quietly located and we felt very comfortable from the beginning. Yvonne is an extremely friendly host and always responded very quickly to our inquiries. We highly recommend this apartment!

Great accommodation with private lake access incl. Use of beach loungers with a view of Monte Generoso and a parking space in the underground car park. The train station is a 15-minute walk away to get to Monte Generoso or Lugano, among other places. For a good selection of restaurants, we recommend going to Porto Ceresio (Italy). Regula was a very warm hostess and her homemade jam literally sweetened our days.

We spent the Easter weekend at one of the apartments at Gritti Palace. The location is perfect and in the town’s center. We really enjoyed Alix’s hospitality and are grabbing for all the services and assistance that she provided, including giving us another room where there is no stairs since I’m pregnant, finding us more varieties of tea and fixing the toilet seat promptly. The communication was very easy and fast. We would recommend this place to anyone!

Great place to stay. Fantastic views away from the crowds. Still easy to get to the places you want to see. Christoph is a great host. Very proactive, friendly and responsive. We had a great time and would love to come back.

My three colleagues and I really enjoyed our stay! The jacuzzi was amazing :) We would definitely come back. The location is also fantastic – right by the lake. We really appreciated how flexible you were with the check-out, that was a big help. One small suggestion: it would be great to have a wider selection of spices for cooking. Other than that, everything was perfect – thank you for a wonderful time!

Enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of this place for four days. Everything spotless - and with all amenities. House sits in a private park with a couple of other houses. True paradise - we would love to come again. You can walk down to the lago - though ended up taking the car most of the time to get to restaurants. A couple of very nice ones in the area - Riva/Shaka (beach club vibe), Osteria Vairano (magnificent view), Rodolfo (excellent local cuisine)

A great host, a beautiful rustico in a wonderful location. We were passing through with two children, we all would have liked to stay longer. Florent responded quickly to all requests, e.g. for a possibly earlier check-in. The furnishings are generous and the decor is cosy. In addition, it is very quiet and you can relax superbly. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week in this romantic rustico. The kids loved the winding cottage and the stairs and paths in the garden. The stairs to the upper bedroom are really very steep and the door to the lower room very narrow. For sporty people everything is no problem😉. The house has everything it needs, well equipped kitchen, we also loved the fireplace. The outdoor area is unbeatable - we were lucky we had nice weather. Especially the morning vibe with views of the river and mountains was sensational. Thanks a lot!

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

The apartment is perfect to explore the area, with easy public transport access to Locarno, Bellinzona, and Verzasca valley. It is a very cute apartment, perfectly clean and very comfortable! The balcony was a great spot to relax. We would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Andrin's place. You don't actually need more than this view from the balcony, but also the rest of the apartment is nice and well decorated. See you soon, hopefully!

Romina's place was just like the pictures - very conveniently located next to the swimming pool and lake. The place was big and bright with tons of closet storage. I personally loved her knifes for cooking as the were actually sharp and great for cutting tomatoes (something rare in Airbnbs). There was also lots of linen and it all smelt fresh and newly washed. The apartment is an easy drive to lots of sites and if you have water equipment (paddle board, etc) the lake is easy access and there is a lot of communal storage.

We stayed for a weekend and will definitely be back soon. The contact with Fikrete was very friendly, we immediately felt very comfortable and the view of the lake is fantastic. In general, the complex looks very well maintained and despite many residential units, you can enjoy peace and quiet on the balcony. The car can be parked in the yard, which is secured to you by a gate. A pool completes it all and of course direct access to the lake . Bissone is located just outside Lugano, very nice quiet with numerous opportunities for walking. However, Lugano can be reached very quickly by bus or car. Lugano captivates with its promenade and numerous cafes and restaurants. There are also many possibilities for hiking enthusiasts. For us, it was perfect at Fikrete, with plenty of everything, sparkling clean and practical/ friendly furnishings. Thank you again and see you soon family Pfeiffer

The Grischina in Locarno is a beautiful apartment on the Lido di Locarno with great views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains. The terrace is huge... All rooms are clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathhouse is right across the street and the center of Locarno is a quick walk away. The nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk away. We had a great 5 days in this quiet yet central apartment. We will definitely come back. Arrivederci Grischina!
