We're 10 minutes from Belford, Wooler & Chatton, 20 minutes to Bamburgh & Holy Island, & 25 minutes to Berwick Upon Tweed, where it's a short train journey to Edinburgh or Newcastle.

Hadrian's Wall, Hexham market town, country walks, cycle routes and village pubs all a stones throw from the doorstep. The Michelin Star restaurant,Pines is 10 mins away. The Humble Hut

The Humble Hut is cosy with everything you need to feel at home. On warm days, open the top dutch door and let the air flow through and when its cold its great to snuggle up by the fire. Outside there is a private area that is ideal for sunbathing or having lunch or a glass of wine. There is seating around the hut so what ever time of day you can find a place to sit in the sun and admire the stunning views. At night if the sky is clear you can star gaze as we are in a dark sky area.

The village has two pubs and a well stocked shop within walking distance. There is 1 King size and 1 Twin bedroom. A fully fitted Kitchen/Diner, Bathroom with bath & shower over. Large living room with TV, WIFI & DVD player. There is a fully enclosed paved garden. The cottage overlooks Lowick Common.

Ideally located next to St Cuthbert’s Way and directly on the cycle route of the Sandstone’s Way- it is the gateway to some of Northumberland’s most spectacular and iconic scenery. The Cheviot Hills are a 25 minute drive away and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne can be seen from the garden.
