Explore & take long walks to enjoy the environment, native flora & vibe of the local area. Long Reef Beach Nature Reserve is a short stroll north, or head south to Curl Curl & Freshwater Beaches. Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Try a walk around Dee Why lagoon to check out the bird life, or a cliff walk from Dee Why to Curl Curl with stunning views. Walk to Long Reef Marnie Reserve or take a bike ride around Narrabeen Lake. Do a short drive to Manly or visit Palm Beach. Shop at Westfield Shopping Mall. Dee Why is one of the northern beaches' most popular dining & surfing areas. Take advantage of the coastal living & hit the beaches, rock pool or promenade to soak up the sun. Light and airy pool house that has been converted into comfortable self-contained accommodation. Naremburn is 6 km from the Sydney CBD and accessible by train and express bus. City buses and/or buses to the beach are 100m away and bustling Crows Nest with over 100 restaurants is a short walk or bus ride from your door. There is free street parking on the other side of the street from our house if you are driving, however, it does get busy in the morning with commuters.

The house to which the apartment is attached is on a quiet heritage street. Access to the apartment is via the rear garden of the house. 5 mins walk to North Sydney station and 4 mins to vibrant restaurants, bars, cafes. So sorry, not suitable for babies or children. A safe and luxurious place to stay.
