Very comfortable house in a quiet but convenient & accessible location. Billy & Orlaigh made us very welcome & went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. The house is spacious & the beds comfortable. It would be a pleasure to return here.

We had such an enjoyable stay for a family wedding nearby. There was loads of room in the house for our family. It was very comfortable, close to alot of local amenities and it was lovely to have use of the pool also. Check-in and out was simple and everyone we met was very helpful and welcoming.

The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the donkeys! Great location for exploring the coast and beyond.

We really enjoyed our stay at David's Holiday Home on the Kilronan Castle Estate. The location proved convenient for day trips to Co. Donegal, Co. Galway, and especially Co. Sligo (which was one of our favorites!). The unit had everything we needed for our family of 4 (including 2 teens) to spread out and enjoy, prepare meals, and even do laundry (we stayed there during the middle of a multi-week trip to UK & Ireland.) Everything was as described in the place- and, importantly, the beds were comfortable. My family enjoyed exploring the castle grounds, while I (Sean's wife) splurged for a wonderful massage and Thermal Suite at the Spa. Hubby & I also enjoyed a Guinness in the castle Dungeon Bar a couple of nights during our stay. Check-in & other instructions were clear and easy to follow. David was prompt in following up with any questions we had. We would happily stay again and/ or recommend to others.

Mit viel Platz bietet das Haus von Jerry und Jenny großen Komfort. Es ist so gut gelegen, dass Tagesausflüge genügen, um sehr viel Schönes und Interessantes im Westen Irlands zu besuchen. Abends kommt man dann in ein wohlig warmes Haus zurück und kann gemütlich entspannen. Jerry und Jenny sind sehr aufmerksame, interessante und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

What a great time we had. I was with a group of 4 long time friends from the United States. I was the only one that had been to Ireland previously and the house was perfect for us. We had enough space that we were not on top of each other. We could walk (although a little further than we preferred) to the downtown area. Kathleen provided recommendations before we arrived. The quaint town had everything we needed with pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. We golfed the local course too. The house was exactly as described. The only issue i had and is the same with so many places in Ireland is that parking was tight and the driveway is tough to get in and out of with traffic but we made it work. Thank you so much for offering your place to help make our trip so great and created lifetime memories.

A perfect, dreamy location with amazing views and the natural world all around you! A wonderful spot to enjoy nature, to enjoy water and to have friends and family comfortably around. A quintessential lake house in every sense. Would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous and magical spot.

The views from the house and the peaceful location were everything that I was hoping for. You definitely need a car to get around, as indicated in the description, but the local shop and pub are within easy walking distance. The house was clean and tidy, and pleasantly warm as well. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen with everything you could want. There were 4 adults in my party and we each got a room to ourselves, but you could easily fit twice as many people and the house wouldn't feel crowded. Stunning area with plenty of wonderful hikes and things to see within 15-45 mins away. Loved it!

This is such a beautiful cottage, full of history , but also everything you need. It is so quiet and we really enjoyed spending time in the house and the garden. Plenty to do in the area too.

We were 3 adult couples touring Ireland. The place is lovely with the river running next to the house. Hugh was there to meet us with instructions and recommendations and Anne had left us some homemade brown bread . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village with lovely pubs and music on Thursdays to Sundays. Some lovely walks as well. Overall a great find and would defiantly stay again if in the area. The film The Quiet Man with John Wayne was filmed in Cong in 1951 so worth a watch before you go or you can watch on the DVD provided at the house.

our stay in "Sean's cottage' was most enjoyable. cottage in beautiful, peaceful, private area. Spotless clean with lots of added features. Kitchen and bathroom essentials all provided which was lovely surprise. Bernadette had left the most beautiful lemon cake for us to enjoy, such a thoughful, welcome treat! Comfortable beds, great shower facilities. Can"t wait to return for a longer stay.

Unser Urlaub in der Fermoyle Lodge war außergewöhnlich. Noch nie haben wir eine so aufmerksame Gastgeberin wie Mary gehabt. Sie hat ein paar Tage vor unserer Ankunft bereits einige Details gesendet und uns eine gute Reise gewünscht, wir haben sehr viele Tips bekommen was wir in der Gegend von Galway County machen können. Die Unterkunft ( the old house) war wunderbar, liebevoll eingerichtet mit dem Blick fürs Detail und einen sehr angenehmen skandinavischen Design. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, es gibt Geschirr und sogar Staubsauger und Bügeleisen. Mary hat uns zur Begrüßung selbst gebackene Scones mit selbstgemachter Marmelade vor die Tür gestellt und ein paar Tage später als wir Sie dann persönlich kennenlernen durften hat sie uns sogar noch Käse und eigenes Apfel-Chutney geschenkt. Danke für diese unvergesslichen Tage bei euch zuhause und hoffentlich sehen wir uns irgendwann wieder.

It was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. If you want an authentic Irish experience then this is it!! We loved the breakfast items provided along with some yummy treats. Debbie and Declan were both super nice and friendly and so helpful. The cottage itself felt like a dream with stunning views from every window. Spotless and squeaky clean. We loved sitting at the breakfast bar looking out at the mountains and the cute sheep and donkeys in the garden. It’s a 10 out of 10 from us! Thank you!

Tom Jacks is in a stunning, peaceful, location with beautiful coastal views. We even spotted Dolphins, whilst eating breakfast outside! The decking area is spacious and comfortable outdoor furniture is provided,along with a BBQ. Inside, the house is very clean and quite spacious, with a log burner for cosy evenings. (Plenty of logs provided) The house is well situated for drives to the local beaches and surrounding area. Letterfrack has a good supermarket. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning in the future.

We had a great time in Deirdre’s place. She was so welcoming and informative. She even offered us a lift in and out of nearby town Killaloe as she was going in anyway which we thought was very kind. We sat out watching the sunset enjoying a drink kept company by the dog lassie, who is really friendly and loves a rub. On check out day Deirdre messaged us to say take our time with check out as the place wasn’t booked, another really kind gesture. Very beautiful surroundings and such a lovely welcoming host. Would highly recommend.

House is beautiful and very comfortable! All the amenities we need and super clean. The view and surrounding scenery are amazing. We walked 3 1/2 miles to town on Sky road each morning and saw donkeys, Connemara ponies, jack rabbits and pheasants. Wonderful restaurants in town. Great hike up Diamond Hill in nearby National Park and swam in ocean at beautiful Dog’s beach. Amazing place for a relaxing and fun vacation!

Wir hatten drei sehr schöne Tage bei Jonathan. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und geräumig. Es hat alles was man braucht ,es ist absolut ruhig und idyllische gelegen.wir waren nur zu zweit und hatten riesig viel Platz. Da das Wetter eher kühl war konnten wir es sehr schön warm beheizten. Gute Lage um die wirklich schöne Gegend zu erkunden. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr.

Spotless, easy communication, lovely house which is about 15 min walk to Ashford Castle and 20 mins to the Lodge. Great location and would thoroughly recommend to anyone attending a wedding in the area. Thank you!

We chose this place for our stay during our trip to Galway. It’s a clean, warm, and bright house located about 15–20 minutes from the city centre. You can do your morning yoga 😍 or go for a run in the garden 😍 The only thing I would mention is that the beds could have been 5–10 cm longer 😅
