Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Lough Corrib

Our stay with Evelyn was lovely warm and very pleasant. The place is located just by the greenway which was very handy! House has its character and charm and is beautiful. We were looked after all the time but also had our privacy. We would come back here with pleasure.

If you are looking for a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life you’ll find it here. The area is quiet & peaceful, although the kitchen is shared space we mostly had it to ourselves. It was a nice space to interact with new people if you wish. The parking was a bit tight with several cars making it a bit challenging to get out of the tight driveway.

This does exactly what it says on the tin plus a little more. Breakfast was really good, with a nice fruit medley thrown in. Immediately across the road from the house is a car-free running/cycleway that leads for about 2 miles in towards the town of Clifden. For a runner like me that really set this place apart cos running with cars on Irish country roads is scary otherwise.

Lorraine went above and byond. She was super helpful and friendly, allowing me to leave my bags before check in time. The room was comfortable, quiet and safe, and her house was just a couple of blocks away from Eyre Square in Galway. She made homemade scones for breakfast, too!

We had a fantastic stay in Pam’s! We were lucky our room was available early to check-in, although early bag drop was available if not. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you could need for a stay including tea, coffees, and toiletries! The location is ideal overlooking the sea, less than 10 min walk to Galway city and a lovely 20 min stroll to Salthill promenade. The breakfast and friendly hospitality was the cherry on top with fresh scones, bread, jams and full Irish/French toast, we were spoiled! We were really happy with our stay, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Mary’s Bed & Breakfast was charming, and so was she! Kind and responsive host who welcomed me personally into her home. She was easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure my stay went smoothly. The stay includes a small bedroom with a simple bathroom, and access to the downstairs living room area with plush couches and an well decorated eating area. Walkable to the Cliffs of Moher. Would absolutely stay again!

We had the best stay! Cozy and amazing views of the ocean. Our favorite though was sweet Bella the pup. She was so sweet!

We had an amazing stay at Brendan and Beatrice’s beautiful home. The house was impeccably clean, well-organized, and surrounded by a stunning garden filled with vibrant flowers. Our room was spacious, perfect for two people, and came with great amenities, including strong WiFi and Netflix. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to clear instructions. Both Brendan and Beatrice were incredibly friendly and responsive, always quick to answer any queries we had. They ensured our stay was peaceful, providing us with plenty of privacy. We were also offered breakfast, which was a lovely touch. Brendan went above and beyond by offering us a lift to the market and giving fantastic suggestions for places to visit in Galway. Maureen and her husband were the perfect host, the house and the services were lovely, I really enjoyed everything and especially the breakfast that was delicious and full of options!

we stayed for 2 nights with our motorbikes while touring the wedt coast of Ireland Geraldine and Noel are fantastic host who made us feel most welcome and the property is superb with fantastic views

Nicola is an awesome host providing an amazing breakfast with great variety including some hot breakfast options (we had the avocado toast which was amazing), overnight oats, fruit, yoghurt etc. They also have great seating options outside with a beautiful view of the bay. Would highly recommend!

Ann was charming and lovely. I felt at home and delightfully yummy breakfast cooked to order. Loved her welcoming spirit.

Marie Louise was a great host. We enjoyed all the conversation over breakfast. The location was fantastic and made it very easy to walk to anywhere in town. The lack of a common space and shared bathrooms made it a little difficult for our large family but we were able to make it work.

We had a very good night at Ann's place. We were greeted by Paula, a very nice lady. Breakfast was very hearty, on a very well set table.

The sea is absolutely incredible! Beautiful home, friendly, bubbly and accommodating host.

Eimhin and Jonny’s place was incredible. While I only stayed one night, I felt right at home. The breakfast was complete with parfaits, toast, coffee, juice, cereal, and a cheese, quiche, and scone plate prepared for each guest. What a thoughtful addition! The recommendations and instructions were helpful and thorough, and Jonny even gave me a lift to the bus stop so I didn’t have to lug my bags. I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. If you’re looking to stay near the cliffs, look no further - this place was an absolute dream.

Sokha and Kevin’s place was extremely clean and well thought out. They even allowed us to drop our luggage off early. Kevin was very welcoming and gave us a tour so we would know where everything is. Any time we had a question their response was thoughtful and immediate. Breakfast was wonderful with the best scones, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, cereal and more. A really nice variety to start the day. The kitchen is available at any time to guests, which is rare and exceptionally helpful in the off and shoulder seasons. Coffee and tea is available for guests to make at any time. It took us about 16 minutes to walk to the center of town and about 10 minutes to walk to the nearest pub. Kilronan is downhill from the Inn. As others have noted, the walls are thin, but everyone is extremely respectful and it was not a problem. We enjoyed our stay look forward to staying here again.

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful hosts, kind, and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Patricia’s bread was delicious as was Noel’s cooking! The house was clean and comfortable. We felt very welcome and loved their little dog Lucy!

Kevin and Sokha are great hosts. The place is super cute and very comfortable. Could not have asked for a better experience. And the freaking scones that Sokha makes are amazing!
